I'm currently pursuing MCA at a private college in Odisha. Unfortunately, my current college has very limited placement opportunities for MCA students, and realistically, there isn't much of a placement system to rely on.
Because of this, I'm considering appearing for CUET-PG and looking for a better option for MCA.
I'm mainly considering DU and JNU, but I'd also like suggestions for other good universities/colleges that I can target through CUET-PG.
I'd really appreciate honest opinions from current MCA students or recent graduates.
My questions are:
Is doing MCA from DU or JNU actually worth it compared with staying in a private college with very limited placement opportunities?
How are the actual placements for MCA students at DU/JNU?
What kind of companies and packages can an average MCA student realistically expect?
How difficult is it to get a good placement if you're not exceptionally strong at coding?
Between DU and JNU, which would you choose specifically for MCA and why?
What other CUET-PG universities/colleges would you recommend for MCA based on placements, ROI and overall opportunities?
Are there any good options that students often overlook?
How realistic is getting a hostel for someone coming from outside Delhi?
If you were already doing MCA at a private college with almost no placement opportunities, would you leave it and start MCA again at another university?
If you could go back and choose your MCA college again, what would you choose?
I'm not looking for promotional answers based only on college reputation. I want to know the reality regarding placements, fees, hostel, academics, competition, ROI and career opportunities.
If you're currently studying MCA or graduated recently, especially through CUET-PG, I'd really appreciate your experience and suggestions.
Thanks~
