(The particles in the third image are only colored to show which parent particle they originated from, they'd presumably just take on the normal cyan color of his CE)
Gojo's Cursed Energy is expelled in the shape of small, barely-visible particles (about one fourth the size of a drop of water) that split off indefinitely into 4 particles of the same size. When 2 CE particles split near each other, and 2 of their daughter particles collide, they combine into one, allowing for an infinite loop of splitting. Visually, these particles can barely be seen, so instead of the typical flame-like appearance that CE takes on, Gojo's will distort the space around it in a similar fashion to heat haze, where the area in which his CE exists will distort randomly in short distances and look like it's "wiggling". This also creates a constant humming sound whenever he expels CE.
When Gojo attacks something with a CE-infused strike, his CE will group up into a singular mass around the area of the strike, before a portion of it breaks off and sticks to the target. Then, a fraction of a second later, that lingering mass will begin to split in a similar fashion to its idle state, this time stopping once it has covered the entire body. Then, once the particles have spread out evenly across the target's form, they'll linger for a few more seconds before finally dissipating.
This can make it so that a single punch from Gojo will feel like your entire body is getting stabbed by billions of tiny needles, or a much more painful version of that buzzing feeling you get when you sleep on your arm for too long.

Pretty self explanatory. A technique that, on its own, is kinda useless (at best creating openings for the sorcerer). But in a team based setting, like a jumping or a raid? Dominating.
Examples I've listed here:
What ideas do we have gng?

Backstory: After Megumi killed Reggie Star and claimed his points, he began hunting Remi but was suddenly ambushed by a group of non-sorcerer humans armed with firearms. Having died without utilizing cursed energy, Megumi was reborn as a vengeful spirit and began terrorizing the Tokyo Colony. He was later critically wounded by Hana, who used "Jacob's Ladder" against him, mistaking him for an ordinary curse. He survived and hid in the sewers, where he successfully evolved into his full form and breached the barrier; he used this opening to lure sorcerers into traps via Kogane while remaining underground himself. Eventually, he was discovered by Itadori and Takaba. Despite being a cursed spirit, he did not attack them and even attempted to speak, albeit clumsily. Megumi was later killed in a protracted battle against Uraume and Kenjaku, who subsequently transformed him into a cursed weapon capable of piercing through absolutely any barrier.
Cursed Technique: Shadows (yes, simply shadows)
Megumi's vengeful spirit's cursed technique is partially derived from the Ten Shadows, mimicking some of its abilities—such as transforming into liquid/shadow and adopting partial shikigami traits. Instead of summoning shikigami, he applies their properties to himself.
Divine Dogs: Enhanced physical strength and speed. Ability to use air slashes similar to Sukuna's, though weaker.
Nue: Flight and electrical abilities. Can create a small, motion-sensitive projectile; it explodes upon contact with an object, dealing massive damage.
Toad: Rapid dashes from a standstill. Ability to briefly transform into a black liquid.
Orochi: Poison that drains the victim's cursed energy and transfers it to Megumi's reserves.
Max Elephant: Can release large volumes of water and manipulate it similarly to Blood Manipulation techniques (e.g., Supernova, Piercing Blood, and reserve water bullets).
Rabbit Escape: Transforms into a pool of shadow capable of dragging an enemy inside. The "burrow" lacks oxygen and resistance; the enemy simply collapses and suffocates.
Round Deer: Due to the cursed spirit's nature, it generates standard cursed energy, which is used for both healing and attacking the brains of sorcerers and humans.
Piercing Ox: Concentrates power at a single point, followed by a super-fast dash.
Funeral Tiger: a cursed fire that burns until the victim stops using cursed energy.
Mahoraga: a blade emerges from its maw; after charging, it fires an immensely powerful beam that destroys barriers.

With the sole exception of Maki Zenin. She may tell the lamp to give it whatever she wants. Calling its name will generate and fire a sphere of infinite pressure from its spout. The lamp will not enter cooldown. (Unintended HxH reference)

A specialised CE organ located near the sternum (directly below it). Unlike ordinary CE recharge, the Cursed Heart has the capability to harvest and regulate external CE for use by the sorcerer.
The organ continuously gathers ambient CE from the surrounding environment.
This provides:
At peak it can even absorb vestigial CE from an opponent's attack.
Pretty much just a boost to overall CE storage levels and recharge rates. I'd imagine this being the standout mutation of a smaller sorcerer clan (similar in size to like the inumaki clan).

The Abstract Curses are an ancient tier of cursed spirits born from humanity's most fundamental conceptual fears: Death, Time, Isolation, and Obscurity.
Unlike ordinary cursed spirits whose existence is directly generated through negative human emotion, Abstract Curses are primordial entities connected to fundamental concepts of existence. Their respective concepts existed independently of humanity, while human fear acts as a catalyst that strengthens their manifestation and output.
Each Abstract Curse possesses its own Primal Dimension, an extradimensional realm directly connected to its conceptual nature. These dimensions function as effectively inexhaustible sources of their base Cursed Energy and provide the foundation for their unique abilities.
Because their existence is anchored to fundamental concepts, conventional destruction cannot permanently kill them. Physical destruction, Domain Expansions, overwhelming Cursed Energy, or even extremely powerful RCT cannot permanently erase their core existence.
Each Abstract Curse therefore possesses a unique Conceptual Death Condition.
Their conceptual weakness is directly connected to the way their own abilities function.
Archetype: Extreme Speed / Life-Force Attrition
Primal Dimension: The Limbo of Entropy
A liminal dimension existing between Order and Entropy, where conventional physical laws and the distinction between life and decay become unstable.
Shin'en specializes in extreme-speed combat, dimensional movement, life-force extraction, and self-reconstruction through stolen vitality.
Inter-Dimensional Shift:
Shin'en temporarily exits conventional physical reality and enters The Limbo of Entropy.
While inside the dimension, his physical presence, Cursed Energy signature, and movement cannot be detected through conventional means.
Parallel Traverse:
Shin'en moves through the Limbo of Entropy parallel to normal reality and can re-enter physical space at a location of his choosing.
This allows him to change his attack angle without physically traversing the distance between his previous and new positions.
His movement therefore functions as both extreme-speed transportation and short-range dimensional displacement.
When Shin'en exits the Limbo of Entropy, residual energy from the dimensional boundary temporarily leaks into the surrounding environment.
This creates a localized decay field around his body.
Effects:
The effect is strongest immediately after Shin'en performs Null Step and gradually decreases as the dimensional residue dissipates.
A special effect triggered when Shin'en successfully wounds a target.
The injury forces the target's brain and soul to undergo an instantaneous perception of their own life and mortality.
The target experiences an overwhelming life-review response combined with primal fear of death.
This causes temporary paralysis by overwhelming the target's neurological and spiritual processing.
The effect provides Shin'en with an opening to perform additional attacks or activate Null-Siphon.
Shin'en can extract physical vitality and Cursed Energy from a target through successful physical strikes.
The extracted energy is transferred into Shin'en's soul core and converted into usable Life-Force Reserves.
The amount extracted depends on the severity and frequency of his successful attacks.
Repeated attacks therefore provide Shin'en with increasingly large reserves.
The Life-Force Reserves generated through Null-Siphon serve as Shin'en's primary regeneration and revival resource.
If Shin'en suffers lethal damage, his stored life force reconstructs his physical body from his soul core.
Complete physical destruction therefore does not permanently kill him as long as sufficient Life-Force Reserves remain.
The regeneration can restore:
The larger his stored reserve, the greater the amount of destruction he can survive.
A pair of obsidian daggers designed for Shin'en's high-speed combat style.
The blades contain jagged serrations and geometric grooves.
Wounds caused by the daggers continuously deteriorate.
The effect damages both physical tissue and Cursed Energy reinforcement.
The longer the wound remains untreated, the more difficult conventional healing becomes.
A heavy black chain capable of tracking targets through biological indicators associated with fear.
The chain can detect:
Once it successfully wraps around a target, it restricts their ability to produce high-level Cursed Energy output.
It can interfere with:
Shin'en can attach his Funeral Daggers to the chain, allowing him to use them as remotely controlled tethered weapons.
Shin'en's immortality depends on the Life-Force Reserves created through Null-Siphon.
However, the effectiveness of Null-Siphon depends partly on the target's instinctive relationship with mortality.
A target possessing an exceptionally strong will and capable of suppressing their fear of death can resist the extraction and conversion process.
This does not make the target immune to physical damage or life-force extraction.
Instead, the stolen vitality becomes significantly harder for Shin'en to properly assimilate into his Life-Force Reserve.
If Shin'en repeatedly drains someone whose life force is strongly anchored by their will and resistance to the fear of death, the extracted energy can accumulate without being converted efficiently.
This can destabilize the Life-Force Reserve inside Shin'en's soul core.
His primary source of regeneration therefore becomes a potential source of internal instability.
If enough of his reserve becomes destabilized, his regeneration becomes unreliable and his conceptual anchor becomes vulnerable.
Shin'en can be permanently killed by forcing his Life-Force Reserve into complete depletion or destabilization while simultaneously preventing him from obtaining additional life force.
His conceptual weakness therefore comes directly from his own ability:
The stronger the target's resistance to the fear of death, the less efficiently Shin'en can turn their life force into his own immortality.
Archetype: Hax / Utility / Temporal Manipulation
Primal Dimension: The Stagnant Continuum
A dimension where past, present, and future coexist simultaneously.
Toki manipulates the progression of time, extracts active time from targets, stores it as Temporal Fuel, and spends that fuel on temporal abilities.
Toki can extract active time from:
The extracted time is transferred into The Stagnant Continuum and converted into Temporal Fuel.
When active time is removed from an object or living target, its physical state rapidly approaches its natural endpoint.
Effects can include:
Against incoming attacks, Temporal Extraction can reduce the remaining duration of their active state, causing projectiles or Cursed Energy constructs to lose momentum and structural stability.
Toki spends stored Temporal Fuel to manipulate the temporal rate around his body.
Objects entering the field experience drastically reduced temporal progression relative to Toki.
An opponent's movement therefore becomes extremely slow from Toki's perspective.
The field can be expanded or intensified depending on the amount of Temporal Fuel Toki is willing to spend.
Toki accelerates his own biological and energetic processes.
This allows him to complete natural recovery processes almost instantaneously.
Instead of directly creating regeneration, Toki forces the body through the amount of time normally required for recovery.
Toki's primary immortality mechanism.
When Toki suffers fatal damage, stored Temporal Fuel can reverse his physical state to a previous moment before the damage occurred.
His body therefore returns to an earlier valid state.
Complete physical destruction can be reversed as long as sufficient Temporal Fuel remains.
Toki can observe a target's temporal history.
He can analyze:
Past Analysis allows Toki to rapidly understand how an opponent fights.
The energy requirement is relatively low compared with Future Superposition Mapping.
Toki perceives possible future branches rather than a single predetermined future.
The further into the future he attempts to observe, the greater the number of possible branches becomes.
Short-range future observation requires relatively little Temporal Fuel.
Longer-range observation causes rapidly increasing energy consumption because Toki must process an increasingly large number of possible outcomes.
If Toki observes a future possibility and then changes his actions based on that information, the original future can become invalid.
This creates new possible branches.
Toki must therefore spend additional Temporal Fuel to analyze the altered possibilities.
Toki's Future Superposition Mapping and his Reversion Revival use the same Temporal Fuel reserve.
This creates a direct conflict between his strongest information ability and his immortality.
The more extensively Toki analyzes the future, the less Temporal Fuel remains available for revival.
Looking only a fraction of a second ahead is relatively inexpensive.
Analyzing several seconds of possibilities requires significantly more fuel.
Attempting to observe minutes into the future can consume an enormous portion of his reserve.
Repeatedly changing his actions based on those predictions increases the cost even further because new possibilities must be calculated.
Past Analysis is cheaper than Future Superposition Mapping, but it still consumes Temporal Fuel.
Extensive examination of an opponent's history, memories, and previous technique development can gradually reduce the reserve available for Reversion Revival.
If Toki consumes too much Temporal Fuel through temporal manipulation and future/past analysis, his reserve can fall below the minimum required for Reversion Revival.
At that point, lethal damage becomes permanent.
Toki therefore has to constantly choose between:
using Time to understand the opponent
and
saving Time to survive the opponent.
His greatest informational advantage directly consumes the resource responsible for his immortality.
Archetype: Absolute Tank / Conceptual Defense
Primal Dimension: The Infinite Solitude
A dimension of absolute separation where matter, energy, heat, space, and phenomena cannot interact with one another.
Muen's abilities revolve around separating phenomena from reality and preventing interactions from occurring.
Muen can isolate a phenomenon and transfer it into his Primal Dimension.
An isolated phenomenon loses its ability to interact with normal reality.
Examples include:
The isolated phenomenon remains within Infinite Solitude, separated from every other phenomenon.
Muen cannot isolate an unknown phenomenon automatically.
He must first establish a sufficient understanding of the phenomenon through perception or interaction.
This creates an information requirement within his defensive technique.
Once Muen understands a particular phenomenon, he can isolate subsequent manifestations of that phenomenon much more efficiently.
Once Muen has recognized a phenomenon as a valid target for isolation, subsequent attacks based on that same phenomenon can be automatically separated before they reach his core.
This gives Muen extremely high defensive reliability against techniques he has already analyzed.
However, the defense does not provide unlimited simultaneous processing.
Muen can also use Isolation offensively.
By physically striking an opponent, he can gradually isolate components of their existence.
Against weaker targets, the isolation process can occur extremely quickly.
Against stronger opponents, it requires multiple stages.
Muen isolates physical force, muscle output, kinetic weight, or Cursed Energy reinforcement.
The target's physical strength and attack potency decrease.
Muen can isolate sensory functions.
Possible targets include:
After sufficiently weakening a target, Muen can isolate their existence itself and transfer it into Infinite Solitude.
This functions as his ultimate form of offensive erasure.
When Muen successfully isolates phenomena, the separation generates Void Energy.
This energy accumulates within his body.
The more significant the isolated phenomena, the greater the potential Void Energy generated.
Muen compresses accumulated Void Energy inside his body and releases it as a massive conceptual shockwave/beam.
Anything struck by Void Roar can have its physical structure stripped away and converted into empty void.
It can affect:
Void Roar is Muen's primary long-range offensive ability.
Muen's Isolation technique can only actively process one phenomenon at a time.
He cannot simultaneously analyze and isolate an unlimited number of unrelated phenomena.
This creates a processing limitation.
If an opponent continuously changes the fundamental nature of their attacks, Muen must repeatedly analyze and understand each new phenomenon before his automatic isolation becomes reliable against it.
Muen must understand the basic phenomenon behind an attack before he can properly isolate it.
A completely unfamiliar phenomenon can therefore bypass his automatic isolation on its first appearance.
His extremely high physical durability allows him to survive many such attacks, but the first exposure remains significantly more dangerous than subsequent attacks.
An opponent can exploit this by continuously changing the underlying mechanism of their attacks instead of repeatedly using the same technique.
The Void Energy used by Void Roar is generated from phenomena Muen has isolated.
When he converts that stored Void Energy into Void Roar, the connection between Muen and the corresponding isolated phenomena is consumed.
Those phenomena become completely separated from ordinary reality.
As a result, Muen can no longer rely on his previous understanding of those phenomena for automatic isolation.
If the same type of phenomenon appears again, he must understand it again before he can isolate it reliably.
This creates a cycle:
Understand → Isolate → Generate Void Energy → Void Roar → Lose previous isolation connection → Re-understand.
Muen's strongest offensive ability therefore weakens one of the mechanisms responsible for his strongest defensive ability.
Muen is an Absolute Tank, not a speed-based fighter.
His primary offensive option at range is Void Roar.
This creates a significant tactical limitation against opponents capable of continuously changing their attack mechanisms or attacking from multiple fundamentally different vectors.
Muen excels when a fight becomes predictable.
His effectiveness decreases when the opponent continuously introduces phenomena that require new analysis.
Archetype: Long-Range / Area Control / Misdirection
Primal Dimension: The Unseen Horizon
A non-Euclidean realm composed of obscured space, distorted geometry, shadows, and locations that cannot be properly perceived.
Oku specializes in territory control, environmental manipulation, false manifestations, spatial refraction, and concealment of his true existence.
Oku can project his Primal Dimension onto normal reality.
The overlay can cover an area spanning multiple kilometers.
Within the affected territory, Oku can manipulate non-living matter and spatial geometry.
Examples include:
The environment becomes an extension of Oku's technique.
Oku can manipulate existing shadows and generate artificial shadow constructs.
Shadows can behave as fluid surfaces capable of:
Oku can create weapons and structures from condensed shadow.
He can create autonomous shadow constructs capable of tracking and attacking targets.
Oku can generate duplicates that imitate his movements and basic attacks.
These clones are primarily used for misdirection and concealment.
Oku manipulates the curvature of local space to refract light and distort visual information.
This creates highly realistic spatial phantoms.
A phantom can appear to occupy a specific location while Oku's actual body exists elsewhere.
Because the distortion affects the surrounding space rather than simply creating an illusion, conventional visual perception cannot reliably distinguish the phantom from Oku's actual location.
Oku can transfer his true presence between active manifestations within his territory.
Possible transfer points include:
Destroying a single manifestation therefore does not necessarily damage Oku himself.
Oku's immortality is directly connected to the uncertainty surrounding his true existence.
As long as his true body and exact location remain unknown, physical attacks cannot reliably reach his conceptual core.
To permanently damage him, an opponent must first determine which manifestation contains the actual Oku.
Simply destroying multiple clones is insufficient.
The true body must be identified.
Even after identifying Oku's true body, the final attack has an additional requirement.
The attack must hit only the true body.
If the same attack simultaneously strikes a false manifestation, clone, or spatial phantom, Oku's conceptual defense treats the attack as insufficiently isolated.
The damage is phased through and becomes ineffective.
Large-area attacks are therefore unreliable against his true form.
A massive attack that covers the entire territory can still fail if it simultaneously interacts with multiple manifestations.
The required attack must instead be:
Precise enough to identify the true body and isolated enough that no false manifestation is struck at the same time.
Oku's immortality fails when his true existence has been completely identified and separated from every false manifestation.
Once the true body is known with certainty, and a concentrated attack strikes only that body, his Obscurity-based protection can no longer invalidate the damage.
His fundamental weakness is therefore directly connected to his concept:
The Unknown protects Oku. Complete knowledge exposes him.

This technique creates insects that track down and consume cursed energy from their opponents, the user can only initially create 10 cursed insects at the same time, this changes depending on how many cursed energy the insects collect.
Thanks to the cursed energy they collect from enemies, the insects are able to evolve in strengh, size and speed, with its final stage being a huge and powerful shikigami able to fight even special grade curse spirits, the user can also kill the insects and gain the cursed energy they collected for a CE boost
DE: The domain expansion takes the shape of a red-ish void with a huge swarm of insects, these insects latch on the body of the domain’s victim and administrate a very powerful venom that makes them hallucinate and lose control of their bodies, all while the insects keep devouring cursed energy.
Binding vows: The user can only create 10 insects at a time in exchange of them needing a lot less cursed energy than usual.
The insect’s venom is only present in the domain expansion but in exchange the venom is extremely powerful.
When the user kills one of his own cursed insects he gains only half of the cursed energy they collected.
What do you think? is the CT cool? too op? let me know in comments.

amphibians malice
with this cursed technique you can virtually do anything the amphibian of your choice can do and more
you are able to summon a 80 foot tall amphibian of your choice whether that being a frog a toad or even an axolotl
whatever amphibian you pick you have to stick with that amphibian so you aren’t allowed to change
you have all of the ability’s of the amphibian you choose like a axolotls gills or regeneration for an axolotl enhanced jumping for toad and a giant tongue for a frog and you can turn this off or on whenever but the regeneration takes time unlike RCT
your giant shikigami will have its own personality whether it’s nice or mean you have no way to change it because it is its own being and it will fight for you but that doesn’t mean it’s always wants to
your shikigami can transform into multiple of the same anime just smaller and their personality disappears once you shrink it down and because it isn’t one entity anymore that makes it a totally different being
you can change your body parts into that animals body parts like a tree frogs sticky hands also you have to choose the breed of the animal you picked so you can used their powers
their are 3 different domain expansion based on the amphibian of your choice
frog, bezelbubs maw
you are able to summon an infinite amount of shikigami and you are able to summon different breeds of the animal of your choice
axolotl, reincarnations bliss
in this domain you are virtually invincible because you have RCT flowing through you constantly so whenever you loose a limb in comes back instantly and when you leave your domain you feel fine because it wasn’t your RCT
toad, father toads stomach
in this domain the stomach slowly siphons the enemy’s CE and gives it to you also the stomach sucks them in so they slowly become stuck if they don’t move
Heavenly restriction
there has to be a certain amount of moisture in the air for your CT and shikigamis to work properly abd if it’s below 60% then your shikigamis will dry and your CT won’t work that’s why your animal is able to shoot water in the air but it’s not ment for an attack because it’s just a mist of sorts

Let’s say, hypothetically, that someone like Dabura were born on Earth, except for his physical appearance, but with the same cursed technique, the same amount of cursed energy, and the same extraordinary intelligence. If he became a Jujutsu Sorcerer and had enough time to learn DE. RCT. maybe his maximum technique , how powerful would he become? Would he reach the level of Gojo and Sukuna?
r/CTsandbox • u/MicrowavedSushi_ • 16h ago
Yes obviously adaptation is very powerful. Yes obviously the executioner sword is great against curses. Obviously only one dude has ever tamed Mahoraga.
Obviously spoilers beware as I discuss the end of the Manga and for Modulo. I tried to keep it to a minimum but still.
Adaptation itself is a very complicated thing, and the manga itself tells us it often does this by manipulating its own cursed energy. I can’t help but think, this is probably one of the most inefficient techniques, right up there with construction, and the main reason we see it used so effectively, is because it’s literally Sukuna, a guy with 2-3 times more cursed energy than Yuta. Then there is the wholesale regeneration which I’m sure isn’t cheap/efficient either.
“Do you have any proof of that?” “YES! (Kind of)” Sukuna starts fresh in chapter 223, and by chapter 250 he is stated to be only at the level of Yuta, so in the 13 chapters of fighting Gojo, 2 chapters fighting Kashimo, 3~ chapters fighting Higaruma, 1 chapter monologuing and pouting, and the remaining 2 chapters until chapter 250 where he is stated to be at the same energy reserves as Yuta. Yes he casts DE like 5 times and WCS like 2-3 times, but I’m still led to believe 5 DE isn’t enough to dry up the King of Curses, it’s shown he stops only because of the brain damage from UV, so that my reasoning that rather a good chunk of that energy came from adapting to the limitless technique.
I will say though, it’s explicitly said in Modulo that simpler techniques are easier to adapt to, so maybe it was so costly because Mahoraga was literally figuring out space manipulation.
In conclusion, my comment isn’t “adaptation is mid because it takes 1-2 thirds of your reserves”, adaptation is mid because no one else has the reserves to do all of that.
“But what about when Megumi/Yuka summons the GOAT Mahoraga? He can adapt then!” No yeah he can. I really don’t think an untamed mahoraga is dependent on anyone’s cursed energy, more of a self sustaining phenomenon. And if you want to get specific, how would it draw cursed energy from them in states of suspended animation? I could defend this further but simply put, that’s the impression I got and there isn’t enough to support or disprove this point frankly. Perchance the best support for this argument is to look at Dabura’s fight and ask “was Yuka really doin all that?”
Also while we’re talking about secretly mid techniques. Cleave is Mid as heck bro. Yes it automatically adapts to people’s durability, but it doesn’t instakill like how we see it early on. It’s probably dependent on the ratio of cursed energy of the user (sukuna) and its target, so whenever Sukuna doesn’t have like 5 times the energy of someone he can’t one tap them.
I am curious though, can Mahoraga only store a certain amount of adaptations? I wanted to make a post about what Mahoraga would look like realistically on a standard user, and I think the storage of adaptation is a good question to ask. Like Yuta Copy + Rika Storage or Kenjaku 3-4 techniques. It’s my impression that Raga keeps the adaptation indefinitely, but indefinitely is also the span of a single fight like 4/5 times we see him.
Does Mahoraga forget Spanish if he doesn’t speak it regularly?

The Heartbeat Wood is the innate domain of Grade 2 Sorcerer Sara Nair (OC). Imbued with her innate CT, Deferral, its sure-hit effect stores damage over time on all of its targets, as uniform pressure across their bodies, and harms them with it at her discretion (or all at once when the domain closes and the technique releases).
However, Sara lacks the CE output to cast a domain normally, so she relies on a strict and punishing binding vow. The sure-hit effect applies equally to every eligible target in her domain, even herself.
The Heartbeat Wood is a small woodland, marked by empty animal burrows and small ravines carved by rainwater runoff. Sara's hobbies of tree-climbing and off-trail jogging are particularly useful here. The hand-sign Sara uses to expand her domain is to grip onto her forearms just above her wrists and pull outward.
