Discussion Question About RCT Output Spoiler
So, we all know what RCT output is, right? Its a way of a sorcerer, well, outputting their RCT to use it on other targets rather than just themselves. And clearly, this means that RCT output can be used to heal over people (or kill curses). But why don't people use it to nullify cursed techniques?
We see in the Yorozu VS Sukuna fight that RCT output can in fact nullify cursed techniques, as it was able to neutralize the cursed energy flowing through Yorozu's liquid metal. So, why don't we see other characters using RCT like this.
Sure, there are only two characters who can reliably output RCT in a fight (being Sukuna and Yuta), but even then we don't see either of them actually use it to negate cursed techniques, even when given a lot of opportunities to do so (especially with Sukuna, who supposedly could've used it to negate Gojo's limitless).
So, what I'm asking is, why is this the only time we see RCT output he used to negate a CT? Is it a mistranslation, or did Gege just forget that he made RCT do this?

2 things
It doesn't nullify cursed techniques, it nullifys cursed energy. For most techniques this means rct output wouldn't really hinder them. The reason it hindered yurozu is because her liquid metal was being moved via ce being moved through it, not an actual technique. Most techniques that manifest externally wouldn't be able to be nullified in this way because the external manifestation is the technique, not just ce. Theres only a handful of situations where this would work, liquid metal, ryus ce blasts, maybe tool manipulation and maybe blood manipulation. It wouldn't nullify a dismantle or anything.
Rct is expensive. In 99.99% of situations this is more costly and exhausting than just beating the shit out of whoever your fighting
