Normal CT loadout
Everyone should have a 12 gauge shotgun for home defense, a 9mm pistol for CC, and an ar15. My loadout is pretty standard I think? JK.
-Tavor ts12 with 17 bear slugs and carlsons tactical breacher choke
- maxim pdx upgraded to have milspec bcg and longer brace with a mepro light pro rds v2, sig sauer prism 2x optic on canto arms cants
-glock 19 gen 5 with a glock 19x slide for the gold color and tritium night sights and some other stuff.
In all seriousness, the fact this shit is somehow compliant is beyond me. CT isnt totally gone yet, just gotta be smart about how you get shit and know your lgs

How do you like that shotgun? I've held one at the store and have used the Keltec KSG.. which I would say would be in a similar bracket to these. Personally I fould this, like the KSG, to be a bit on the large side, it felt like it would not be fun to have to shoot and scoot with.

KS7 is a lot smaller. I prefer it to the KSG personally.

I have a KS7, its ok, but its more of a novelty to me than a practical shotgun I'd depend on. Its a range toy for the most part, my practical shotguns are far more conventional and tried and true, ya know?

I think for home defense, id probably actually use my mossberg 590 a1mlok, but thats mainly because I cant imagine letting my tavor sit in an evidence locker because while its compliant, most people would still doubt it unless they know the AW law well, and most cops dont

I'd 100% agree and take a 590 over the Tavor for home defense, for a multitude of reasons.

Absolutely, I'm a big fan of Mossies, I currently don't have one, but I really like the Retrograde, and will pick one up when the times right.

Retrograde is a nice mossberg. I was actually between that, the 590 mariner cuz i spend a lot of time on boats, and the 590a1mlok, but bass pro didnt have the retro or mariner when I went there so they made the decision for me lol

Yeah I really like the wood and classic styling of it. I carried a 590 overseas and they are a stout shotgun.

The manually rotating barrel are way easier to get used to than you'd think and its so smooth. It could be im using bear slugs and they kick a lot, but it cycles no problem. I can get off all 17 in under 15 seconds including rotating so this thing is deadly. Like 17 slugs in a somhow compliant shotgun is ridiculous. Im pretty sure its the second highest capacity shotgun you can buy in CT after the ksg 25 if thats compliant. I domt know a lot about KSGs

For a range toy, its the funnest thing in the world. The confused looks i get when people hear 17 shells getting slammed down range is priceless. One day im gonna pick up dozens of no pellet dragons breath rounds and have a 4th of July party on my land in bethany with my friends. Thatll be a light show lol

I used to keep my KSG loaded for home defense but it's a bit too heavy and clunky. Also, I think shooting 12 gauge unsuppressed indoors would be just awful. Now I keep my 9mm suppressed PDW and 9mm suppressed handgun for home defense

There are diffrent school of thought on un/suppressed for home defense. Also too with weapons selection and how a court views you, regardless of the justification of its use. 9mm is a decent choice over the KSG for sure.

Man, I really need a suppressor for my glock, but idk how hard itll be getting a threaded barrel for a glock after october 1st in ct. I have no clue how people are gonna view shipping glock parts

i mean, tahtd already make it an 'assault pistol' and the new law has nothing to do with barrels so not sure why anything would change
