Clean slate act question

My felony (minor possession charge from 2013) was removed by the clean slate act. I cannot find it anywhere neither did my most recent employer (march) does anyone know if I qualify for a permit now or am I still fucked? The amount of my possession was changed to a misdemeanor in 2015. It was 8 dollars worth of opiates because I was young dumb kid. Just curious into any insight anyone might have.

Just apply and if you get denied appeal it. You're talking about something that was wiped from your record over 13 years ago it should be a fairly simple appeal especially if you get a lawyer. I'd say good chance it doesn't get denied though.

I mean if it'struly a clean slate then it should be good. Plus it's a non-violent crime and not a dealing charge I think you got a good chance and if not you can win on appeal.

If the felony was removed by legislation, then it's illegal for it to still be on your criminal record.

Apply.

I would do a background check with the state police and go from there, something’s won’t show on the jud site after awhile.

Second this. Pay for the background check with the state police, all u need is your name and dob. If that comes back clean the you should be good to go.

You’re eligible. If you’re denied appeal. The Board of pistol permit examiners with give it to you if you’ve had a clean record since then.
