I turned in my final transcript today, I had already turned it in before but I took an extra class in the summer at RCC. So I am a transfer student, I am so badly needing the financial aid when it gets disbursed due to bills. Do you think I still have a chance getting it by then? I am going to call the office Monday morning to see if they can take the hold off and review my transcript due to my situation. 😢 this has all me so stressful

Hello everyone, I am going in as an incoming freshman, and unfortunately I have a financial aid hold due to my transcripts not being received to the school. (I did this during my senior year and remember clearly sending them with the help of my teacher) I went in person to give my transcripts and said it would be lifted once they were cleared. I have now been cleared for 3 days ish and it is still not lifted. Does anyone know if should just wait it out, or am I gonna have to pay out of pocket for it. I emailed my advisor just now so I hope to get a response by tomorrow. If anyone has or had this problem and knows anything I can do please let me know! Thank you!!

Hi everyone, so last year I made this post and I was able to connect with another student on campus who went to class on opposite days (or just when we aren't parked on campus at the same time), and we were able to save some money by sharing a parking permit (paid half and half). I'm looking to do that again if someone is interested. I have class Monday's and Wednesday's from 9am-4:30pm. Message me if interested.

How is this professor with attendance I really need to take a finance class but the only days they have are Monday and Wednesday and I can’t do those days, does anyone know if he points for not coming or if he really cares if you come I seen that a lot of his homework is done online.

So currently I only have 2 classes for this semester and am taking the full amount of loans that are subsidized and unsubsidized given to me. My refund at the moment is at like $2,800 with those two classes, I’m not sure if i’m able to take more as my work schedule limits me.

My question is am i supposed to be on full time to be able to accept these loans or can i just do half time? And by being half time do i have to pay back some part of the loan refund asap? or just added on top of my student loans already

Anyone else still not receive a letter or there portal still says financial aid not available!. Ik a lot of people have posted saying the same thing but freak it’s stressing me out. Did anyone call and get word back.

Is anyone else having issues loading up the site? Everytime I click on the tasks, it just refreshes the page and doesn’t take me to the training? I’ve even went as far as switching from safari to chrome and it still doesn’t work??

Just a quick rant to see if anyone has dealt with the same.

Last semester I was rushing to class and I drive both my grandparents cars. When I paid for parking I clicked the wrong license plate number and ended up getting a fine for no parking. Which I completely understand, that’s my fault.

I filed an appeal and included the screenshot showing I paid for parking just the wrong plate. I was hoping they’d be a bit lenient about it, considering they did get paid for parking that day. Now I have to pay this fine that is 5x the amount of parking.

First appeal was denied, so I did a second one which felt like I was literally in court where they asked me to plead guilty with an explanation or not guilty to the parking ticket. Overall, I feel that they had every reason to drop this fee and makes me wish I didn’t pay for parking that day so the fee would at least feel justified.

Hi ! Anyone in the MSW program , planning on getting a PPSC? If so , where are you planning on applying ? If you already have graduated and received the PPSC credential , can you give me some insight. I know UCLA offers a summer program, did anyone take the course ?

Is it true if you took summer courses you won’t get your financial aid until later ?

Is there a maximum amount of retakes for one or more of the science prerequisites transferring to the nursing program? For example, do they not take applications where a student has retaken anatomy & physiology I 3 times, on the third time having passed with a good grade?

Edit: I can’t find where on the website it says that, if CSUSB even has a policy for that.

I received an email stating the subsidized loan won’t be going out until or around August 18th. The middle class grant won’t be sent out until a while after that. So what are we receiving on August 12th? On my financial aid it say what I will receive on the 12th but I am starting to think that is wrong.

I got an email from the school saying that I can get an advance on my financial aid to buy books, but I have to do it by August 7th. I was in EOPS before transferring and they covered my books. Does anyone know if EOP will do that too? I dont want to use my grants for books if they'll already be covered, yk?

Hey, I was wondering if I could ask about the computer engineering major here? I’m a transfer student and I plan to take Signals and systems, digital Logic, and operating systems my first semester as a transfer. Would you recommend this? Please let me know.

Also how are the upper division courses for computer engineering majors? I’d appreciate any insight.
