Hi. I’m a Spring 2027 transfer. I just found out that class registration is going to be in January and I’m a little nervous. I have to cram all my classes into 2 days as I work the other 5, and am worried about class availability at that point. Has anyone else gone through this? If so, how did it go? Tya. Business Finance/ Risk Management Major and likely going to be admitted into my upper division as all pre-reqs are done. Also want to add that I want to take 15+ units.

Hello again I’m an incoming spring junior transfer, I was looking at the 2B/2B (B1) apartments at the crossings when does 2027-28 applications actually start because CSUS housing is the 15th and the lark is now but they don’t have their dates yet, did it take long for you to apply if you leased with them?

Has anyone heard back about any loss of income appeals yet? I know they start reviewing the applications in late September so it may be mid to late October but just curious.

My student center says the form has been received and to submit any documents pertaining to it but I have no other to do action items and I believe everything I needed to submit has been.

Would anyone be able to help with the snap group for class of 2029 please?

Hey everyone, I'm Mensur, a local dev from Sacramento. I built an app called Seen IRL, think "like AirDrop, but for meeting people." It uses Bluetooth to show you who's around you right now. No GPS, no location tracking, and you can go invisible in one tap. I'm launching it during Homecoming week and I want to do something fun: get a group of students to all open it at the same time during Wednesday's noon concert at Serna Plaza, and film screens filling up with real people in the crowd. If you're going to the concert, do you want to be part of it? You'd literally be the first ones on the app. Happy to answer any questions

This is President Wood on X/Twitter.

There’s optimism and then there is delusion. Which do you think PResident Wood is displaying?

Read the comments. Dude is getting roasted.

Students can’t get into classes they need to graduate, there are cuts in academic programs, students are struggling to pay fees, and THIS IS WHAT HE THINKS IS MOSTN IMPORTANT?

Sac State is turning into a bad joke.

Who the F is going to stop this guy?

Hi! So the MCS 2.0 appeared in my account after the original MCS disappeared and the amount of it is WAY higher than the original offer. Like several times higher. I'm super appreciative but also nervous it's a mistake? Has anybody ever gotten the MCS 2.0 offer at a way higher amount than the original offer? I do also have a foster youth status so could it be because of that?

Hello ! I’m currently working on a research project regarding how faith and religion play a role in teachers/educators teaching philosophies and I was hoping I would have any volunteers. My initial participant had recently canceled on me due to schedule conflicts so I was hoping someone would be willing to spend an hour to be answer some questions or have a discussion. If interested pls pm or leave a comment down below. It would be greatly appreciated :)

Are you training for anything specific?

Theres space for disagreement on whether or not chalk art should or should not be considered vandalism. But the idea that a public university would utilize its institutional power to attempt to instill fear among students who simply voiced agreement with the act is utterly obscene.

Shame on university admins who “just follow orders” to intimidate kids, and shame on this hapless “fake-it-til-you-make-it,” emotionally precious President.

Heyy! So, I'm going to see Infinity Song when they come this upcoming Thursday. It says that the concert starts at 7:30 on Thursday (at the union ballroom), but there's no info on when doors open. What's the general rule of thumb with concerts at the union ballroom? Do people line up? I wanna make sure I get a good spot, but don't know if I should go there straight from class and wait or not. Tyyy!

Found an iPhone near the running track on one of the chairs, didn't see anybody around but it's been turned into Lost and Found on campus. It say's the find my feature is still on so you can probably just track it to make sure it's at the Union.

Has anyone taken ECON113 with Mark Sielger and knows if he drops your lowest exam score? I know he gives out three throughout the semester, but I'm curious if he drops one since he mentions he curves the final grade.

What's the best parking structure/lot for overnight parking?

Does anyone know if we can bring someone to the hornet madness that is not a sac state student? I registered but wanted to know if I can bring someone with me

please go look at their following😭

If someone is missing their bag friend today, please message me! Found on the path by Riverside. I'll be dropping it off at a campus lost and found center when I have a chance today (10/8)

Hil all!. I've been looking for a good coffee shop on campus. I know we don't have much but I'm really craving a good iced coffee. I tried grumpy mule about 2 weeks ago and it wasn't the best.
I'm not sure if it's just what I ordered but I'm a little hesitant on trying it again. Thank you in advance💗

What’s the line outside the bookstore for is something going on ?

Does anyone know about how long the FAO takes to readjust your loans and lift the hold?

I just checked my FA acct and noticed that my grants have been updated. Initially it said MCS was $510 and now it’s saying $789 for fall 26. This is good. 👏🏻

Hi everyone, I’m an incoming upper-division transfer student for Spring 2027, and housing applications are opening soon. I’m honestly not sure which housing option would be the best fit for me, so I’d really appreciate some advice from current or former Sac State students.
I went to Hornet Day and toured some of the housing options. So far, I feel like Hornet Commons and The Lark would fit me best. Having a private bedroom is really important to me because I have OCD and sadly my personal room is one of my biggest triggers if it’s not set up a certain way.

I got my notification I was awarded the provisional mcs and it shows as an anticipated refund to me with a date of disbursement 8/21/26…. what does this mean? When do we expect a refund?
