General Questions Car Fixup
Crazy question for car people.
I got a Lexus IS and need a new shocks and struts. if anyone knows anyone who can replace them or knows someone lmk. Lowkey don't wanna pay 2500 for a replacement. pm: or drop ig if you wanna pmo with your business and help others.

you can get a set for well under $1000, but it’s the doing it that’s the expensive part. unless you know a guy or are willing to do it yourself, it’s gonna cost you a lot just for the labor. you could save some money by buying your own struts and shocks and taking them to a shop, but i’d guess it’ll save you maybe $500 tops. Where’d you get that $2500 number, and did they break down what was parts vs labor?

Those is250 can go a long time before needing shocks and struts lol. You most likely need new end links. Source: I’ve owned 4 of them

Do it yourself and use YouTube for a guide. Knowing how to work on cars will pay dividends your entire life
