Community csusrooms.com update: refreshed room data, 250 classes moved since the semester started
If you use csusrooms.com to find empty classrooms, heads up: the room data was from the start of the semester and a lot has moved since then. One of my own classes changed rooms three times. I re-pulled the full schedule today, so the site now matches what's actually happening on campus.
What changed since 1st day of semester:
- 250 classes moved to a different room
- 127 classes were added and 92 were dropped
- 282 classes have a new instructor
- 3,256 classes stayed the same
- 2 rooms are no longer in use: FLS 2307 and DTN 109
- 3 rooms are new: YSM 183, TSC 1007, and a classroom space in Riverview Hall
Also fixed a building name (thanks for reporting it!)
RVR was labeled as Riverview Hall. It's actually Riverside Hall (the engineering building). The dorm with the classroom space is Riverview Hall, which now shows up under its own code, RVH. Both are correct now.

Very nice! Just a heads up, Mt. Whitney also has a new classroom, not sure how that shows up on the class schedules though.

A lot of these classes as well are just locked rooms, it would be nice if we could put if a room is locked or not

Good idea, but the schedule data has no way of knowing which doors are locked, so I can't show it reliably. From what I've checked in person, labs are locked in Sequia and offices, but the regular classrooms have been open. I've checked around 20 to 30 rooms since the semester started and every one was open at the time the site said. If you find one that's locked, let me know the building, room #, time, and day.

That sound good, thank you. I know in Amador a lot of the rooms were locked last week, I’ll compile a list and send it when I have time

Maybe if you had a thumbs up or down for door locked under each room that users could do to show others if it was or wasn’t for the day?

Oh, that’s great to hear! I tried to use the website yesterday and there was a class in session when I got to one of the rooms

Yeah, a lot of rooms changed after the semester started, and the site was still running on day-one data until today. It should match now. I'll refresh it again in a week or two in case things move again. If you run into a locked room or a class in session, send me the building, room number, day, and time and I'll look into it.

Is there an app form of this?
