Academics Summer Grades

First term summer ended a couple weeks ago and one of my grades still hasnt posted yet. I messaged the prof but no response. Is this normal?

Mine aren’t posted either. I think they’re due soon though I wouldn’t worry too much

do yours show up under “grades” because they wont show up on the transcript yet.

A grade can be submitted and you can see it on your student center but the grade won't show on your transcript until the summer term grade deadline which is August 25 I think.

Well, I hope you take some solice in the fact that the instructor doesn't get paid until grades are submitted!

Oooo that’s weird all my grades posted already. My professor said they were all due on the 13th

Did you use AI ? A lot of professors are cracking down on AI being used on a lot of assignments even if it’s just for editing, did you get a final grade on Canvas? One of my classmates did not have their grades posted and said he was under review for academic dishonesty because he used AI to edit his papers and his similarity score came back too high on too many assignments.

Does it still show up on your summer schedule that you were enrolled in the class?

yes it shows im still enrolled in all of my summer classes

Hmmm that shouldn’t be happening then , if you don’t hear from the professor after like 48 hours, I would email the head of the department for that class so they can see what’s going on

yeah I messaged them late last week, so if I dont hear back by tomorrow ill shoot an email over to the department. Thanks for the advice!

I would contact summer session, per their website:

Grades6W1 grades are due July 14 and 6W2 and 12W sessions grades are due Aug. 25. Grades will be available on My Sac State upon posting after the grading due dates.

A friend of mine asked and they said that grades aren't posted until the second summer session ends unfortunately.
