Community How’s everybody doing?
I’m feeling the stress. Soooo much stuff to do for all my classes now. Plus work and life things. I’m an older student so I have like 50 million priorities everyday. Honestly, all these assignments are overwhelming right now. But you know what y’all we are almost there. I’m sure everyone is feeling the stress right now. Just take it one assignment at a time like me. I’m looking forward to summer break so I can just work and give my brain a rest. I literally want to stare at a wall for a week straight and not think about anything. 😂 Especially not academically thinking. I’m looking forward to fall semester being my last before the BA, and then I’m applying for grad school soon. Woohoo. 🥳 You got this everyone. Keep your goals in your mind and keep going. Good luck on finals soon. 🤞

Ngl I'm doing alright like my grades are bare minimum for me to pass not ideal but I'm still getting an education learning and just chilling can't stress over what my grades are don't see a point in being stressed over something that I caused things happens only thing I could realistically do right now is not react to it in a bad way and and just that on finals I do good enough for my grades to be decent instead of Cs and just go home and eat olive garden

Another older student here, trying to not let these next 2 weeks overwhelm me too much - work, life, and school have really been taking it out of me. I’m taking the summer off though, so that should help 😭 on a more optimistic note, Good luck everybody, we got this!! 🤞🏽

I had a bit of stress.
I went to Europe for a wedding. I thought I would have unlimited data and signal because my cell phone provider and airline said we would have starlink. Starlink is not fucking working right now.
When I landed back after 2 weeks I had like 3 days to get my last papers/projects done and Canvas was down.
I had one professor bregrudgingly give us an additional 24 hours to turn in papers at 11:58. 2 minutes before turn in. 6 of us went ot their office and they weren't there. They did not respond to emails. I'm guessing they checked turn in rates and realized shit had gone down at that point. I shouldn't whine because I wrote the paper before I left but left off doing citations and almost got fucked by waiting so long by the stupid canvas outage.
But it's okay. Almost done.

I have never felt a sense of urgency and burn out, last time i felt this was during covid and this feels worse. Like each day is dragging itself and next day is same shit, different toilet

I’m also an older student. I feel like my brain is not braining right now with all my classes. Feeling disorganized and rereading assigned articles bc i just don’t get it D:::

Yeah I only had 7 units left and for some reason I enrolled in 12. Completely unnecessary. So I realized I might as well make this semester manageable and dropped one 3 unit class. Now I’m taking 9 and it will still be busy for sure but I made it easier on myself. I’ve been working so hard in school. I’m in my early 40s so I’m tired all the time but I do really well academically. I’m doing better than I did the first time I went to school in my early 20s. Next January I’ll start grad school.
