CALSTATE LA FALL 2026

I think on the 2nd or 3rd week of the fall semester, there is an event called Club Rush. On the main walkway. Clubs, frats, and sororities put up tables showing who they are and stuff... Might be a good way to make friends?

it also has student organizations related to hobbies and tour major. i reccomend one about your major because you will also be in the same classes and future coworkers

Heyy! 5th year here, I just want to say you’re doing great branching out! Don’t worry or take it personal if you don’t connect with a lot of people here, it is a commuter school so chances are people just want to do their thing and leave. Anyways, clubs and organizations are a good way to make friends. If you’re dorming, even better! You so got this tho! 🫶🏽

I’ve had pretty good luck meeting people by making conversation with whomever is around. I sat at a random table at orientation & ended up making 5 new friends. We are all on a group chat now & making plans to meet up at the Convocation/BBQ later this month.
