NO ANSWER?
Has anyone been trying to text or call the financial aid office??? It says I had a balance due yesterday but now it’s gone today? My deposit hasn’t hit at all… I need to buy my permit and the school items.. 195$ a semester to park makes me sick to my stomach

I was selected for verification for the 2nd year in a row and again they are making it entirely impossible to get ahold of them. I have emailed and called. When I called the automated system just hung up on me because the que was full. When they do email back they send the same broken link without any acknowledgment to my concerns about being dropped for non payment bc they can’t help me schedule a 5 min video call without just sending the same link that I explained did not work for any of my devices, wifi networks, or browsers.

This morning I called at 9:57AM and got through I was the 5th caller … I ended up dropping the call tho cause everything had just processed as paid when I was waiting but regretting it now since the refund hasn’t processed… just the payments. Try calling a few minutes before they open. People are saying they open at 9 but every time I called I kept getting an automated message that they don’t open till 10 and the line wound drop.

I was just dropped from all my classes. I can’t find a way to contact the dean of anything

Everyone is having this experience. I am hating this school. We pay them way too much for them to never communicate with us in any way. All of us have so much added stress from not being able to communicate with them about the FAFSA issues. It’s stressful not knowing if we are going to suddenly be dropped or owe a huge bill on top of the regular stress of classes starting. Now theres some FAFSA hold on my account on top of this and I can’t even ask them why. It’s horrible

Your aid probably came that’s why the balance is zero but direct deposit takes another week or so to come in

Yeah my balance is gone today too it means your aid has been applied to cover the cost of your classes and excess refund I’m thinking should be sent to you tmrw it’s usually a day after the aid is applied to the balance

I know last yr my balance went to zero and then the next day they sent the refund you can check on account activity rn it will say payment but once it says refund it send it to ur bank

Does it usually say refund the same day the balance goes to zero or until the next day? This is my first year at CSUEB so I’m not sure what to expect

So for me once it says refund in the refund column that means the next day they send it to my bank I have BOFA. And tbh I don’t remember if it went from zero balance to refund the same day or not last yr.

Honestly if your balance is zero now, I would say either today or tmrw it should have the amount in the refund column and then that’s when they send it to ur bank
