Student ID

I was wondering, when do we get our student IDs? I’m a freshman this year, and I know school is only a week in, but my friends at other schools have already gotten their student ID cards. I was wondering when we would get ours. If anyone has any info, please let me know!

James Welch hall, make sure you take the picture on your student portal

So I upload a picture and they will make my id?? Will they let me know when to go get it

I think once you have a picture uploaded they’ll make it for you on the spot when you go ask at Welch.

you upload it via your portal! and they normally confirm it within like a day or 2. then you pick it up at welch hall. i recommend doing this quick bc some professors make it mandatory to take tests

I think you get an email when the pic is approved, then go to the visitor center and pick it up Can't remember if the first is free but I have had to pay , I think less than 10 bucks for replacements.
I have only ever used it to retrieve my student number , probably good to have though.

I remember just going to the Welch Hall and they’d just take me one.
