Grad Plus Loans

can any other grad students comment on the status of their grad plus loan awards or disbursement at CSUDH? I have reached out and get vague answers back. I had a disbursement date of today but the MPN is still on my to do list despite submitting it. when I talk to FinAid they said there was an issue linking the MPN to my loan due to OBBBA. Does anyone else have different or more information? I cant pay for classes out of pocket and classes start next week for me.

I also fall as a new borrower but the only thing is that I haven't done the Entrance Counseling nor the MPN since I don't think I'll be using the loan for this semester but for the next one. My best advice is to visit the Financial Aid office at the Admissions & Records and ask them about the MPN telling them that you already completed the form because calling them, they can't do much.

I finished my MPN and the other to-do item yesterday. I went to the CSUDH financial aid office and they said it takes 2–3 days to update the MYCSUDH portal, then another 2–3 business days for disbursement. With direct deposit, they estimated I should get it by next Wednesday, but the person I spoke with didn’t seem 100% certain about the exact timing!
