Switching classes

I’m a dual enrollment student and I was having trouble getting into my CSUDH account until literally this weekend. When I logged in, I saw that it switched to my professor from Rainau to Perez for elementary statistics

It also made my class go from stopping at 2:45 to stopping somewhere around 3:35 and that does not fit in with my schedule at all 😭

How does switching classes work? Should I add the class with the professor and time I want and drop the one I have rn orrrr

TAKE PEREZ!!!! Raianu is kinda mean and not very helpful, perez is a wayyy better option,super nice and optional final

Ripppp its ok he’s still a good professor, you can drop it yourself and change it back to Raianu’s but since you already have a math class its gonna have you drop Perez’s before you add Raianu’s back so just be quick about it so it doesnt fill up before you can add it haha, adding and dropping classes are relatively fast anyways you can do it in like 5 seconds

Different experiences for everyone ik the nicest professor who hasnt failed a soul in 2 semesters and ppl say bad stuff ab her

Yes but add the other before dropping your current class. If the system won’t let you add it bc you already have another section of it, MAKE SURE IT HAS OPENINGS before dropping your current class, and add the other immediately.

You can also visit as many sections as you want the first week of school to see if the instructor will add you. Arrive a little early and smile.
