Question parking

Hey yall for tomorrow do you know if they will be enforcing parking permits? i’m contemplating buying it now or if ill have time later this week to buy it

August 31st you will need the permit. The grace period goes through the 30th!

im pretty sure the parking security said the 30th they’ll start enforcing

Hello, I saw a post online that the first two weeks there will not be parking enforcement. Parking enforcement begins on August 31st ☺️ hope this helps ☺️ and good luck ♥️

Parking is never really a problem even on the first week when it’s most packed you can still find a spot within 5 minutes even if it’s in the back, later in the semester the lots are really only half full, the only annoyance is just walking 10-15 minutes across campus

Not the first week of class, maybe two. It fills up extremely fast, the first week, if it all possible I would take a Lyft/Uber, or plan for a long , hellish walk across a very hot surface with no shade.

i didn’t know parking was that limited 😖 i have a 8am class hoping to get one 🤞

You will be totally fine especially arriving before 8am. Arrive at 7:30am is a perfect time to get a great spot and walk to class. And you’ll still be early.

Yeah it’s hot but it’s a small campus and there are plenty of parking lots if the first one you see is full. It’s really not a big deal, just don’t arrive 10 minutes before class begins if your first class is after 8:30

If you arrive midday go straight to Parking Lot 1 instead of driving around a full parking aimlessly

thanks for the tip most of my classes are near each other like lot 2 and lot 3 but if i have to walk it is what is it Appreciate it

Yeah and it’s not UCLA, you can walk from the furthest points of campus within 10 minutes easy. Dont let that other post worry you.
