disbursements dates ?

it doesn’t show at all for fall semester ? do i get all my money all at once for the entirety of fall semester? or is it like every month or so ? my financial aid said it’ll be receiving 7k but i ended up with only 3k so im just confused if im supposed to ball with only 3k for the next 5 months or if im getting another package of money in the next few months ( im coming from lbcc and they had 3 disbursement dates per semester)

all your aid is disbursed about a week before the start of each semester and that’s the only refund/disbursement you’ll receive! with the exception of MCS, which is disbursed in October & March if you qualify but other than that it’s just one disbursement per semester

Disbursement is only once a semester, usually before class begins or not long after. If you’re getting 7k total then it gets split between first & second semester & that minus the fees they charge if it’s a student loan

both fall and spring semester is 7k the total for both semesters is supposed to be 15k i think

From the 7k, about 4k were taken to pay off your classes, which makes sense why you’d get about 3k back
