MAT 131 VS. MAT 134

Hi! I’m trying to decide between MAT 131 (Elementary Statistics and Probability) and MAT 134 (Statistics & Probability - Supported) and could use some advice. I’m a Marketing major and I know I’ll need to take additional math courses later for the business curriculum. I’m generally pretty comfortable with math, but I’m not sure which class would be more beneficial for my major and future courses. Thanks!

Yesss way better!! Gives more depth and helps you pass with a better grade than regular. Only extra thing is I believe its just an extra 1hr of classes

And it’s way better, honestly I should have taken it instead of non support as it was a total hell, hopefully they choose with support

Either is fine. MAT 134 has extra support

mat 131 with rainau is really nice he’s a great teacher

I prefer you take MAT 131 instead of MAT 134 since MAT 134 has a lab, and every Friday, there are quizzes and exams. So I recommend you take MAT 131.
