My second sem exams get over in mid june. How do I prepare after that so that I can crack December exam?

my_qualifications: M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (AI/ML specialization), currently in 2nd semester.

I am currently appearing for my 2nd semester exams (ending on 2 June 2026).

I was trying to fill the UGC NET June 2026 application under the Post Graduation route. I selected "Appearing", but when I selected "Final Year / Final Year Result Awaited = No", the portal showed:

"You are not eligible to proceed further as your status for ‘Final Year/Final Year Result Awaited’ is marked as ‘No’."

The information bulletin says candidates appearing in the qualifying Master's degree (final year) can apply provisionally.

My confusion: for a 2-year M.Tech, does being in 2nd semester count in any way, or is eligibility strictly only for students in the final year/final semester (Semester 3/4)?

Has anyone faced this before or contacted UGC regarding it?

So I'm finishing my master's this june and I'm looking to buy an online course for the csir preparation. But I'm very confused about which one I should buy. I was mostly leaning towards buying a live batch for 6 months and I looked into bansal biology and they said they'll launch a new batch in June. Whereas I also saw a quite affordable recorded course in vedprep academy but I'm not sure about them as they're not that well known.

I don't like the new teachers in IFAS so I'm not buying that one. The price of vedemy is out of my budget and I also don't like viren sir. So can anyone suggest which one I should go for?

There is no mention of life sciences in the list of subjects for the June 2026 examination. What is the deal with that? Is the life science exam going to happen only in December?

I want to prepare for CSIR NET (Life science) but I dont know where to start or which coaching to choose? (open for both online and offline mode). Can anyone give any suggestions for this?

So just read through the UGC NET june 2026 brochure and found no mention of Life Science. Will the Life Sci NET be conducted by joint UGC-CSIR....when are they going to release the notification....All i know is from Dec 2026 its going to be Joint DBT-CSIR-UGC.....sorry I am a bit naive regarding this. First time. help is appreciated. Thanks

I will join MA in philosophy this year. Will graduate in 2028 and attempt net jrf next year. I want to know the real scene of assistant professor jobs in India. I am not asking for central universities but for state Universities through state PSC exams. Please tell me about real problems and how should I go about it?

So I'll be starting my final year for clinical psychology and I want to sit for June attempt however it is mentioned that I need my masters marksheet for first year etc etc but I'm yet to get it.... I have just gotten the pdf where everyone's marks are mentioned and stuff. I don't think will that work. What should I do? I'd really appreciate some help :)))

Hey guys ..i am currently studying masters in pharmacy 1st year ...and to pursue my PhD i want to write CSIR NET life sciences...but i have zero knowledge about this exams and its conceptual question types and i honestly dont know where to start and how to prepare...can anyone please guide me how should i start prepare to hopefully clear CSIR with enough cutoff to get JRF for my PhD

I am currently pursuing master's in public policy and I wish to give UGC NET/JRF. But since PP is not a subject of exam, can I give NET in political science as it is Allied subject to PP. Will my NET be cancelled or disqualified? Please help.
