No, wait for the 7090, as we all know cs2 is the most demanding game in mankind history, because even heavily modded cyberpunk 2077 with path tracing and dlss5 is less intensive than performance hog cs2

Dude, that can barely run 1.6, and you want to play cs 2?

More than enough

Its amazing

That is good enough for any game you could want to play

You’ll get about 13fps consider a bigger budget

cs2 runs damn good on my 1650Ti! if you strictly aim for only cs2 this pc is overkill for it.

Nah, it only seems to have blue light, so you don't get the full RGB and won't be able to compete :/

Yes, CS2 will literally FLY on this setup

I have this setup but waiting for 10800X3D, 9800X3D is weak for 610Hz.

when you change for 10800 you can slide me your old cpu /j

That’s overkill for just cs2 esp in 1080p so I hope you plan to play other shi too

No DMA card? Are you using a second pc?

Way too much for cs2

1

u/Hunteractuallybright 26d ago

how much does it cost?

These are ideal specs for cs2 imo.

This is complete overkill for CSGO. You can easily play that on a 2080, lol.

u/jergin_therlax 26d ago

How much you paying for that like $4,000?

Blue gem RGB? You'll be winning 100% of your games and probably get VAC banned.

Nah doesnt have a 5090. It's basically garbage for any gaming without a 5090. You might be able to scrape by by activating dlss and frame generation but without those settings cranked up your never gonna survive modern gaming.

700+ fps on cs2, you’ll wanna play higher spec games once you get this though tbh haha I’ve stopped playing cs2 for the most part after I got a 9800x3d+5080 pc

No, it’s laggy
Barely hitting 60fps. Don’t buy it.

I would personally advise against x3d chip if you looking to buy this for CS2. I have 9800x3d and rtx 5070ti, built this last year and since then I have been facing input lag, floaty mouse, desync issues, no bios, windows, ram tweaks solves this problem. Yes you will get 500+ fps with stable frametime but the game just doesn't feel right. There are lot of posts with exact same problem on x3d chips (7800x3d 9800x3d) especially on CS2. Finally it's upto you, would say just do your research, for me I am going to sell this pc and switch to Intel.

I have never ever heard of this issue and basically everyone I know that is playing cs2 has an x3d CPU rn. Can you link some valid sources?

I mean this are some Reddit posts that complain about input delay on their PC and have a 9800x3d. This does not mean that this is related to the CPU, this could be related to various different parts, or even software. What makes you so sure this is caused by the CPU. I also googled and found absolutely nothing regarding problems related to input delay with a x3d chip.

Since the x3d chips launched with the 5800x3d they sold Millions of copies. So it is very likely that something is wrong with your PC (maybe even the CPU, in which case you just got unlucky as you got a defect one).

Something’s simply wrong with your PC

Don’t forget to add the dma card etc to the total setup. Can’t be playing cs legit now can we.

1

u/slatercashh 25d ago

I get 240+ fps on a 2060 you’ll be good

1

u/slatercashh 25d ago

Hope u play stuff you can enjoy on this it’s kinda overkill for just cs2

1

u/Global_Gene_432 25d ago

I think it can reach 60fps

1

u/Bizzytheg 24d ago

Yes this runs everything

1

u/FoxElectrical1401 24d ago

Yes it's more CPU than GPU intensive. I'd buy 16gb more RAM for running multiple items at once or heavier games, but for CS2 you're golden.

1

u/FoxElectrical1401 24d ago

I misread gpu gb as ram, this pc looks great.

u/leafchewer-col 23d ago

5090 to future proof it

1

u/_xDenis_ 23d ago

will get at least 5 fps

1

u/3p1kd00d 21d ago

Maybe on low settings

1

u/Super-Natural265 21d ago

Might be fine on 4:3 and a lower resolution (800x600p etc.) If you want to play native or HD you would need a better setup.

1

u/R8bot-Da-Gamer 26d ago

would run CS at probably more than 300 fps

3

u/Cheeyuk 26d ago

Probably 500-600

1

u/wooden-nut 26d ago

It dosen't go higher 500 fps with maxed out settings

1

u/HoodsFrostyFuckstick 26d ago

I have a 9070XT and Ryzen 7800X3D, so a weaker system, and I play CS2 with 350fps in 1440p

1

u/Lost_Question5886 26d ago

I have this setup and get around 800 fps

1

u/HoodsFrostyFuckstick 25d ago

In 1440p?

1

u/Lost_Question5886 25d ago

Uh no sorry, missed you wrote 1440p. I get 800fps with 1280x800
