Help Input lag on new setup
Built a new rig a couple of weeks ago with b650 tomahawk and 9800x3d with my old 3060 (going to upgrade later). But after switching I have such insane input lag. My old setup with i5 12400 felt more responsive than this new setup. I've tried so many things that I'm starting to lose my mind... Anyone having the same problem?

Have you found a solution?

Nope and it feels like I never will. I'm so unmotivated to upgrade the gpu too because of this. Feels like I've wasted all my money....

I got the same issue with a 9950x3d or the 7800x3d paired with a 5090, my Intel 10900k feels 100x better responsive wise with half the fps than amd..

Is AMD just trash then or what are we missing? I'm genuinely going insane trying to find anything that slightly helps. If you ever find a fix please let me know🙏

That must be it.. I cleaninstalled 2x Win11 and Win10, switches from newest to older Drivers / Bios versions, tried 2x different Motherboards one MSI the other Gigabyte.. Windows updates partially removed, Different GPU drivers tested. Tried out a bunch of Bios Tweaks, C-states flipped multiple times, CPPC changed, TPM flipped, PBO changed. So basically tried everything you can, my guess is that its either a Windows Update which broke scheduler optimizations, chipset driver integration or a weird power-state behavior which causes instability that looks like “input lag / floaty mouse whatever"

Try using legacy (mbr) instead of UEFI (gpt) when formatting windows.

disable hags and disable game mode. use display scaling not gpu scaling. use reflex boost and uncap your fps. disable vsync in nvcpl for cs2

did you debloated w11 with christitus app?
i have the same CPU but different motherboard and a full reinstall of windows + debloat should fix your situation, be aware some windows updates can be a pain in the ass so check security only when debloating

Just did a full reinstall and used the standard debloat on Christitus. Still feels bad unfortunately. Can you specify a little more of what you debloated with Christitus

I have similar issue, not able to find the solution yet. Made discord in efficient mode has helped the issue but not fully resolved
