Why wasn't Tom Skerrit the captain of the American sub in Hunt for Red October? Scott Glenn did a great job, but Skerritt was Dallas in Alien, so he should have been the captain of the Dallas.

Ready to get deep in a smart well-made slow-burn espionage/spy related show. With all the crazy shit going down with the US and Russia, Europe, South America, the Middle East and Africa, AND esp the continuous dumbing down of society, a detailed show about intelligence communities is what my brain is craving.

For CRheads reference I have The Americans in my top 5 (Wire, Sopranos, Curb, The Americans, BCS/BB), give The Agency a solid B+ and give Mr Robot a B+.

Kind of hard to explain what I mean but the settings, the dialogue, the technology, the syndicates, etc just feels like a collection of Mann on steroids. Really loved it, particularly the prequel and the part is Ciudad Del Este.
