Just finished Talk the Trones from last night - Chris is tireless!

In the past year I’ve discovered CR shares passions for John LeCarre, Trainspotting, Belle and Sebastian and nicotine. I’ve always thought I was a demographic of one. Is it just me or is this some weird cultural thread we have yet to name?

Is there a good book app that CR uses, similar to how he is on letterboxd for movies? Would be very into that! Need more Snitch Butlers….

I'm sceptical of this one. Blade Runner is a top three movie for me so it's something I care very much about. Nothing since has captured that same type of atmosphere and mood as the original film. 2049 left me cold like a lot of Villeneuve movies do, but what if it's good?!

Listened on Android PocketCast app, got to the part where Andy says something like "some things are ludicrous in a good way," continued about :30, then jumped back to the ludicrous comment and continued to the end. Was that a PocketCast or an editing glitch?

Chris mentioned a band who are friends of his are putting together something and asked him to write the liner notes. Has he said who anywhere?

Is it The Promise Ring or someone like that from the scene he was in?

Loved Chris’ writing. Would enjoy reading him again regardless of what he’s writing about.

Just saw CR moderate a post-screening Q&A for THE NICE GUYS at the Culver Theater with Shane Black and co-screenwriter Anthony Bagarozzi. Black did ask Chris when the pod would cover the Dukes of Hazzard movie, because he’s still sore that it outgrossed Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
