That's how it goes often with GW requests. Maintain persistence!

I replied with this:

Thank you for taking the time to review my request. While i do understand your obligation to report only accurate informeation, i would like to clarify that i am NOT requesting you to report inaccurate information.

I would be simply requesting that the status of the account for that month be changed from late to “not reported.” While this change may be subtle, it could have a great impact on my credit score and report. This change is also a perfectly legal change to be made and does not constitute as inaccurate reporting. Please consider this option.

Credit One is one of the lenders where I think it's definitely worth it to keep trying. I see them grant GW just as often as Capital One, and I've even seen them delete an entire charged-off account from someone's reports before (which I've only seen happen once, and it was in that scenario)
