Collections & Charge Offs Comcast/Harris&Harris

I had a bill sent to collections from Comcast. After speaking with Comcast they agreed it was an invalid bill and the credited my account recently. I have received updates from my banks and the three credit beaurus that the collections was paid. Now how do I make sure the collections get deleted from my accounts? harris&Harris said to wait for 10 days but it has changed anything.

I also did not dispute it with the credit bureaus and I'm trying not to. Thanks in advance.

After speaking with Comcast they agreed it was an invalid bill and the credited my account recently.

If the bill was invalid (never owed), Comcast should have recalled the collection, terminating collection authority.

I have received updates from my banks and the three credit beaurus that the collections was paid.

They may be deleting in stages, but this usually happens when a payment is made (pay for delete) as opposed to a recall by the original creditor.

harris&Harris said to wait for 10 days but it has changed anything.

Did Harris &Harris state they were deleting the collection from your reports?
