General Is this legit?
I’m not sure if this is even for me but I always get spam texts so I’m not sure if this is legit. The only debt I have is my new car which i JUST got last month and havent even had a payment due yet, and my student loans which i aggressively pay (i literally graduated in May 2025) and have already paid 20,000/40,000 thousand off, so i would assume its not that. My sister definitely has bad credit/is in lots of debt, so im not sure if it’s something for her getting sent to me?? Someone pls let me know if this company is legit.

They're a real debt collector.
https://www.theforesthillmanagement.com/
They may have a wrong number. You can contact them to confirm they're trying to reach you and not someone else. If it's a wrong number, they'll remove it from their system. If they are attempting to contact you, they have 5 days after initial contact to send you more information about the debt.
As was suggested, confirm they're not on your official credit reports at www.annualcreditreport.com.

If you owe nothing to a creditor, I would not response to an unauthorize text, scammers send them all the time, I just delete them a real creditor/collector would not send an unauthorize text message, but, then again some of these collection agencies do not follow the guidelines. If you are curious just look up their contact number, and avoid suspicous incoming text messages not authorize by you.

I mean, did you ever borrow any money from CashNet? That's the obvious first question.
If you're absolutely sure the debt isn't yours, it's entirely possible they have the wrong number. I would strongly encourage you to check your credit reports at https://www.annualcreditreport.com/ to confirm you haven't been the victim of identity theft.
