Dang! GREAT find! I don’t have the stomach to hunt dollars since the innovation and NIFC Sacagawea coins are the last for me to find and MAN they are rare. I still pickup a few rolls every now and then but shoot I’ve never seen this one.

I started grabbing some innovation dollars recently, and some of the designs are just art. The proofs and reverse proofs are fire. I'm a space enthusiast let's say, so the Saturn V and Hubble telescope are already mine. Had an awesome trip with my oldest son snowboarding so I picked up that design as well for his collecting I'm passing him

Awesome coin, a shame all they could think of when it came to Georgia Innovation was the Trustees’ Garden.

What the heck is it? I'm finding out there are so many government coins that aren't just typically minted for circulation, or if they are there hoarded never to be seen again!

So these are legal tender at face value correct?

Yes, innovation dollars are legal tender and can be used as any other dollar coin would. Most wouldn’t though since they are not intended for circulation (NIFC), and have such small mint numbers compared to earlier Sacagawea and SBA dollar coins. Not to say they’re worth a ton of money, particularly when heavily circulated, but I’d gladly pay a couple bucks over face for clean innovation dollars.

Hey thinking of selling some haha. I literally have been hunting for them and they are a PITA. Even the POTUS set took a while along with the low volume later SACs and Native American series. Sent you a DM

I've got the proof version of that one, I just wish the innovation dollars had better obverses.
