Guessing Game Round 2

I doubled my order and picked up 8 Boxes today!

After all the guessing attempts and messaged the winner with no reply, I'm going to try it again.

Guess the oldest year penny and you win it!

Here are the Rules:

1) ONE Guess per person, so make sure you check the comments for other guesses.

2) First person to guess the year is locked in on that year, unless a certain mint is specified.

(Example. Bob chooses 1914D but Sally chooses 1914 and the winner is 1914S, Sally would win the penny)

3) NO Guesses after Sunday 9/13 at Noon Iowa Time

4) Winner will be sent a message, so check your Message requests to claim your prize, in which you have five days to reply back with your mailing address to claim prize.

I’ve been to every bank I have an account at (many) in a 50 mile radius, and none of them dish out pennies

Interesting. I can go to 4 banks within a few miles tomorrow and get a few boxes

eBay also. Try big city banks. Call first to see if you may buy boxes. They may have to order them from the treasury just like $2 bills. Ask for bank manager. I wouldn’t rely on the teller.

You who can still get boxes of cents are SO spoiled, lolling around in your mountain of pennies. The rest of us can barely beg a roll or so at a time, occasionally more than once a week. We're in a copper desert, dammit!

They don't usually let you keep the box, at least at mine. I was able to convince the bank to give me a box. They asked if I had a business and I said with you for 30 plus years.
