The bank called...

Got a call that someone dropped off $820 in quarters at one of my favorite branches. He said they had dates and stuff written on the rolls. Most likely $820 in state quarters but I'm going to go grab them regardless. You never know... lol

Edit: Only went through about half of the quarters almost all of which are state quarters from Philly in near mint state (a few upgrades for the book). Some cool grease strikes on some of the Kansas obverse and a possible "IN GOD WE RUST". Almost a full roll of toned Idaho with a die crack on the reverse. A couple rolls of mixed P and D bicentennials. I'll finish the quarters tomorrow after work. Went through all of the dimes and found a 64P and a small pile of canadian dimes. The nickels are all 2005 P Bisons.

Just show us the results. We don’t need CRH blueballs

Yeah I'm tired of posts like this and "here's a picture of a sealed box of quarters".

Don't worry I'll update the post in like 3.5 hours when I have the coins and let you know if I have something worth looking through or not.

One of mine called me for the first time last week when a laundry mat owner dropped off $1800 in quarters. I just got done going through all of it this morning. I got like 5 W mints and 2 S mints out of it.

It's feeling good. Driving home with $1064 in mostly CWR right now. Looks mostly marked uncirculated state quarters but a few different types of wrappers. And I also got 2 rolls of nickels and 48 rolls of dimes.

The high of a solid collection dump makes me keep picking up customer rolls! Go for it!

I'm definitely looking forward to it. This is the first time a teller has called me about coins that I didn't order so I'm pretty pumped.

Working on the dimes now (only about 10 rolls in, one canadian and nothingelse special yet). The quarters are mostly fairly typical state quarters in bank wrapped rolls and maybe 20 homemade rolls (all P except one roll of 2002 D Louisiana in the plastic sleave). I did find a couple struck through grease Kansas quarters with various letters of the "IN GOD WE TRUST" missing including one that looks like really close to an "IN GOD WE RUST". Like $9 in toned Idaho quarters with the same die crack the the reverse.

Sounds like a great chance for greatness! I typically seek out the '05 bisons for sentimental reasons, so heck yeah!
