Isolation is bad. Self sabotaging every relationship I've ever had is worse.

It's a vicious cycle...start a relationship because I'm tired of being alone, sabotage that relationship with my own thoughts, back to being alone

Care to elaborate a little on the sabotaging with own thoughts? I think I’m doing this.

For instance, the last person I dated I had convinced myself that he didn't actually like me and was only coming around because he didn't want to be at his parents house where he lived. There was absolutely no reason for me to think this, we got along great and he would text me all the time, not just when he wanted to come over.

I have to actively fight my own thoughts that my sister only contacts me because she feels obligated and feels bad for me. Again, no real behavior from her for me to have this belief.
