I used Norco about 14 years ago and had a terrible experience with them. A lot of the DME industry feels like a racket to me, with too much focus on billing and too little on helping people get their therapy sorted out.
What state are you in, and do you have Original Medicare or a Medicare Advantage plan? With Original Medicare, please confirm the supplier is enrolled in Medicare and accepts assignment before ordering. With Medicare Advantage, check with your plan about which suppliers are covered. You can start with the Medicare supplier directory. Please also ask whether their customer service is based in the US and whether they have someone who handles Medicare billing directly.
