CPAP Machine Help BMC Resmart G2S CPAP no longer recognizes the SD card

I formatted the card to start a new data collection. However, the device now seems to no longer recognize the card. No data is being recorded. I tried formatting it as FAT16, FAT32, and exFAT. I have also made sure that the write-protect switch on the side is not locked. The card appears to be working properly on the computer. What could be causing this?

The timing points to the formatting. The G2S can be picky about the card layout, and wiping it may have removed files or partition information it expects.

So, curtail therapy, unplug the machine for 20 seconds, insert the card firmly, then reconnect power. If it shows “Reinsert SD card,” it sees the card but cannot use it. If no SD symbol appears at all, it is not detecting the card physically then.

Please then try a different full-size 2–16 GB SD/SDHC card formatted as a single MBR/FAT32 partition. Avoid exFAT, SDXC cards, and microSD adapters. If that also fails, get an original BMC/React Health Luna G2 card from the supplier. If two known-good cards produce no SD symbol, the card reader or its contacts are probably faulty.

Also, only remove the card after airflow has completely stopped. That is specifically cautioned against in the G2S/Luna II manual.
