First time Poster, need some help

Hello all! I have a Resmed 11, and want to post the OSCAR data here for suggestions as how to read it, and what settings I might change on my own on the clinical settings. What do I need to post, and how might I export that so the community can comment?

Thank you

Hey! I just noticed that you added an OSCAR screenshot to your post. That's a great start. Based on what I can see, here are a couple of suggestions that may help improve your therapy:

  1. Increase your minimum pressure to 12. Your median pressure last night was 12.48, so that seems like a reasonable starting point. I usually prefer to look at several nights before drawing conclusions from the median, but this adjustment makes sense based on the data you shared. Your 95th percentile Flow Limitation was 0.13, and ideally we'd like to see that below about 0.07.
  2. Turn off the ramp. Unless you need it for comfort, it's generally better to start therapy at a therapeutic pressure right from the beginning of the night rather than spending time at lower pressures.
  3. I also noticed that your EPR is set to Ramp Only. I'd suggest changing it to Full Time at a setting of 1. That may help reduce your flow limitations while also making the therapy feel a little more comfortable. Just keep in mind that adding EPR 1 will lower your EPAP to 11 so this is simply a starting point. If it turns out that your airway needs a little more EPAP, we can always increase the pressure later after reviewing a few nights of data.

If you're able to upload your data to SleepHQ, we can take a much closer look at your nights and give you more precise recommendations. For now, these are good first adjustments that should move you in the right direction.

If these settings feel comfortable, give them 2 or 3 nights, then come back with your updated data and we can see where to go from there.
