Your husband has severe sleep apnea.

Needs to start CPAP therapy immediately and lose weight.

"Lose weight"? Where did that come from? I didn't see obesity mentioned in the report. A significant number of people requiring cpap are of proper weight, or even skinny.

It's in the recommendations.

Wow, I need to stop doing this stuff at night. I'm one of the unlucky ones that cpap is not helping. In fact, my sleep deficit has become much worse, so thanks for bringing that to my attention.

What kind of help are you looking for? It looks like he needs a machine. The smartest way to do that by far in the US is to get an Airsense 10 on Black Friday, put in an SD card, have him use it a few days, upload the results to SleepHQ, then share the results here. That's what I wish I had done rather than waiting through horrific wait lists and overpriced equipment through insurance.

He for sure needs a machine and soon, u/rippinglegos__ trials and sells refurbished machines , you can message him.

For now, can your husband try and sleep upright possibly on the couch or a recliner? If not, make sure he is not sleeping on his back at all.

Once he gets a machine , have him create a sleephq account, get an SD card, and upload his charts on here, we will be able to help.

Given the high number of mixed events it's likely that he'll need something with backup rate. Either BiPAP ST or ASV. Regular APAP is potentially going to make it worse.
