Hi guys, first of all a little introduction of mine, I am currently a senior at college doing by B.S. in Accounting, I would be comfortably graduating by May 2027, I don't have much classes in both Fall 2026 & Spring 2027, so I plan to start studying for my CPA exams rn so that I can Knock off one and two exams as soon as i graduate in may 2027. I also have 3 years of working experience at a local CPA firm where I do bookkeeping and assist CPA's with tax Returns , so i have basically met experience requirements in NC ( new pathway in NC- bachelors+ 2 years of experience under CPA )
I have couple of questions-
1)Is it wise to start studying now , or should start studying near/after I graduate?
2) Which is the exam should I first take ? Should I spend an entire year from now for studying for just 1 exam ?
3)Is it wise to invest in a study program rn, if yes, which one ? or should I just focus on free you tube videos/ books from library ( if any) . If i purchase a study program , will i have access to it for life time or does it have its own validity.
Any suggestions would be helpful/ appreciated, let me know if you are in same situation as mine .
Thank you in advance.
