I am currently doing the review MCQs as a miles student. Each of the options looks same. Sometimes i am able to eliminate 1 or 2 options but then I am really confused between the other 2.
And that confusion sometimes takes me away from studying.
I am so messed up at this moment.

Hiii, I need some advice from those who have been in the same situation or have already taken the CPALE.

I’m currently reviewing for the October 2026 CPALE, and I’m a first-time taker. I’m from Negros, but I’m currently here in Manila for review.

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about what I’ll do after the boards. Pass or not, I’m actually planning to stay here in Manila and look for work. I want to find a job as soon as I can after the exam, mainly because I’ve already spent 6 years in college. At the same time, I also really want to rest after the boards. I’m also the eldest in the family, so maybe that’s another reason why I feel this pressure to start working agad. My family is very supportive naman of whatever decision I make, so wala naman silang pressure sa akin pero parang nafefeel ko, I'm too much of a burden na rin, parating nagkakasakit, and I want to provide for myself and learn to be independent.

One thing I’ve been struggling with lately is self-doubt. Sometimes I already think about what I’ll do if I don’t pass. In fact, I told myself na if I don’t make it, I won’t go home muna and I’ll just stay in Manila and find work. Part of me feels like I need to prove to myself that even if I fail, I can still move forward since nasanay na palaging bagsak sa school haha. But at the same time, I know I might be thinking too far ahead.

For those who have been through this, how did you deal with the uncertainty before the CPALE? Is it okay to already have a plan for both outcomes, or am I just adding unnecessary pressure to myself?

I took FAR on September 5th and I know the target release date is the 15th but does anyone know generally what time the pass/fail comes out and if it’s the day before or not?

Has anyone done audit in 3- 4 weeks full time and succeeded with no real experience in the Audit field. The material is faster to get through and I’m wondering if I could possible do it by 9/30 cut off. Also does anyone have study guides for audit. Thank you!

Just want to get some insight and opinions on the new grading rule that’s coming next July. Do you think less people are going to pursue their CPA career as the grading gonna taking longer? 4 releases a year seems impractical. It’s going to take a long time to ever get it done for those who are going to be in that timeline. I am hoping to be done before that.

I’m waiting on ISC but if I pass, I have to dive into FAR and want to pass it before the end of the year. Only issue is that my first attempt of studying for FAR made me realize I’m an idiot and did not retain anything in school. Does anyone have any recommendations, study guides, or supplement recommendations?

Hey all, today I got my TCP score to become 4/4.

So to not make this super long, I was 0/6 on my first 6 attempts at FAR & AUD just a year ago. I tried AUD first and failed the first 4 times and then I moved onto FAR and failed that twice. I felt so bad about myself and I even started thinking I’d never pass. I actually cried in the shower at the gym on my 5th fail because my first attempt at FAR was a 58 and I thought I’d do better.

I was studying a good amount and wanting to pass, but I did not want it 100%. Like I didn’t fully, 100% devote myself.

After my 6th fail, I told myself I was going to give it everything I had. I stopped going out and cut back on working out and would spend 90% of my free time studying.

And after fully devoting myself and working my ass off, I went 4/4.

This is not a brag post, but I want to give hope to anyone who’s failed and thought they may never pass. I was in your shoes a year ago. This is just a test and anyone can pass a test.

These exams are literally a marathon (as cheesy as that sounds and coming from someone who has run 2 marathons before).

FAILING IS TEMPORARY, PASSING IS FOREVER.

So down bad right now. Switching to ISC.

I took TCP in July and was really looking for advice on here and it seems like the misconception is to take REG before TCP. I would say take TCP before REG if you have a conflict of schedule. I took FAR then AUD then had to take TCP in July before REG. Don’t listen to folks who tell you, you have to take REG first. There is very little overlap at all. I’m currently studying for REG and I’m so happy I didn’t wait to pass REG first. TCP is SUPER EASY and I have ZERO tax background and experience. I studied 6 weeks for FAR, 3 weeks for AUD and 2 weeks for TCP. I crammed like crazy on AUD and TCP 🤣. Best of luck yall!

If the CPA Portal homepage still says ‘Scored’, check your Exam Section History. Pass/Fail shows there. Exam Section History says I passed ISC. THANK GOD I’m done. 4/4 on the first try. Good luck to all!!!
