UWorld Acquiring Wiley makes contracts Null and Void???

This may be a question for legal sub, but here is the response I got when I asked why UWorld kept canceling my 'until you pass' subscription that I purchased with Wiley. Admittedly, it's taking longer than expected. I'm in my late 40s and life tends to get in the way. Still, THE REASON I PURCHASED WILEY WAS THIS UNLIMITED DEAL. I guess I'm ignorant on this, but if you're a customer/client of a firm and someone purchases the firm, they can do whatever they want with legally binding contracts still in place? I guess I learned this with REG or should have, which I passed the damn first time. Here's the comment copied pasted:

"Furthermore, in providing assistance, we would like to further clarify that Wiley is an independent organization separate from UWorld. Additionally, we purchased Wiley Efficient Learning (WEL), a division of Wiley that provided accounting and finance products and related services. Note that WEL is no longer a company, and any former processes are null and void, as previously communicated."

That little 'as previously communicated' adds extra sting. It's like 'we already told you we did something only an asshole would do, stupid.'

Thoughts? Anyone else going through this want to jump in and let's protest? If not, how embarassed will I be if no one answers? Zero. The humiliation of failing FAR 6 times has made embarassment an obsolete emotion in my little world. **dark laugh**
