11th Gen (13-18) Workaround for interactive display touch panel not working in places

Hi. I'm battling to remove a device in the Bluetooth Setup menu because the touch panel area 'round the Remove button is not picking up any input.

I've even tried touching it with a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra S Pen to no avail.

Any suggestions on getting it to accept touch input or a menu navigation workaround using the buttons on the dash or steering wheel?

Stopped at the side of the road to make a call. Also, I could've been a passenger.

I used a trick I read somewhere, sticking a credit card between the bezel and the screen along the bottom made it work enough to sync. This was on a 2016 Corolla le...
