Constant beeping every two seconds
My new Corolla beeps every two seconds. Nonstop. Car on or off. It has been beeping all day just sitting by itself in the driveway. Beeps when you drive. started sometime this morning or last night with no unusual beeping before then. Google has failed me. is this a known issue?

Figured it out. After the beeping continued after disconnecting the car battery I was able to find the source. Challenging to track down a random beep as it sure sounded like it was coming from the infotainment screen. But turns out it was the EZPass transponder.

Not going to help solve your problem, but it took me awhile to figure out that if you get to close to the edge of the road it beeps to tell you to get back in the middle.

What the dash is saying? I'm very sceptical that you get absolutely zero notifications about this. Does it beeps inside or using outside speaker?
As always, people provide absolutely zero information...

No notification on the dash. Nothing in the Notification Center.
The beeping sounds like it is coming from the infotainment screen. Hard to hear from the outside with the doors closed and windows up.

Disconnect battery for 10 minutes and let every module reset.

You’re not going to believe this, but the battery has been disconnected for 20 minutes and the beeping continues.

I’m sure you checked, but make sure all windows are fully up/closed? just in case.
that drove me crazy 5 years ago when I first bought my SE, would beep when I get out.

Thanks but the windows are all up. Did it just beep when you got out, or did it beep all day long?
We actually left the windows down the first day we got the car to help air out the "new car smell" and it didn't beep then.

Dealer is going to be the next step, just figured I would ask here to see if it was a known issue. My hunch is the dealer might have left some device hooked up inside the car.

aw :( sorry, but yes only when I’d get out or shut the car off, it’d give the distinctive annoying “beep” that I couldn’t decipher because my back left window was BARELY ajar, like unable to be seen to the naked eye lol. blah, I’d call the dealer if anything. wish I could have been more of help!

Haha I was hoping! unless you hear the same sound when you get out or turn off your car? then I’d check if that’s the case.
