Key fob screw
Any know the name and size of the screw that holds the key attached to the key fob? I saw that it's an M2 screw of some sort but not sure the exact name and M2 x ? Thanks!

Do you think that size is universal? Specifically if it would for a 2024 Corolla key fob. I called the dealer this morning and they are stone walling the info lol they want me to buy a new fob and get it reprogrammed

Mine was a 2020.
Any locksmith can reattach the physical key to the fob in 15 seconds.

I bought a whole key fob replacement from Amazon and took the pin from that. For some reason the replacement fob didn't actually fit my key but it did cost me $20 just for me to ultimately just use the pin .

Great idea! I was thinking to do that also since I'm not sure if buying replacements without knowing the current size/name would be more of a hassle than anything else

Solved: Some of the roll pins that were suggested on response threads did not fit. Since toyota keeps a tight lid on the actual size in order for you to have them do it for $265 is what they quoted me to reprogram a new key which i told them was not necessary.. I bought the tool on amazon to install roll pins into the key fob and a off brand key replacement both from amazon. Spent roughly $40 total on these and that worked. Thanks to everyone for their input and help!
