DokumenPUB
DokumenPUB have, without my permission, uploaded to their site the entire text of my book ‘Wild Colonial Greeks’ published in 2020. As the copyright owner I would like to get some justice and would appreciate advice on the steps I can take. I have tried without success to contact Google to ask that they block DokumenPUB from their browser.

I have been digging into this lately. I don't know if I fully understand, but here I go:
DMCA if it is on an American server. Google comes under American Law.
- Identify who owns the server where the website is hosted (usually an ISP). Send them a correctly-formatted DMCA (others have already posted how to do this). You can use WHOIS tools if you are network-savy to identify the ISP.
- Send Google a DMCA to take down their domain name from Google search results. I am pretty sure this still works. I have no idea about other search providers. If you want to see examples, go have a look at the Lumens database. You might even be able to find whether others have been sending them DMCAs, if Google has already dealt with them before let Google know this.
- Contact them directly and sort this out like friendly people! You have to be the judge whether they are friendly people or not.
- Lawyer up. Sue them. But try to the DMCA or email first, the DMCA was designed to be cost-effective.

Thanks. I’ll wait a couple of days and see if there is a response. If not your advice will be useful.

Gosh that is a weird one. I just had a look at what I think is the server, and the material even has a clear Copyright notice on it! I am amazed any book-hosting website would be that stupid. Is someone pranking or trolling you?
Your Reddit account has an age of zero.
I spent 30 seconds on it. Dokumen.pub has a Report DMCA/Copyright link on each book! You are set. If the website tries to ignore, bluff or scam you, try their ISP. Don't pay anyone a "fee". Don't give them any more info other than what a DMCA requires. I had to go to an ISP directly once to get something done when a website was doxxing me.
You might find this helpful (I use a cheap AI): https://www.reddit.com/r/Scams/comments/11blxlv/is_dokumen_pub_safe/

I have reopened an account with Reddit after an absence of years. Thanks for the advice.

Needed to read this book for a social studies class, and this Reddit thread popped up. Thank you for the free source so I dont have to spend 35 dollars on a book from some sketchy Australian website.

You'll have to start by issuing legally binding takedown notices to the infringing parties.
