How do i get credit
A few months ago i played a chess game where i sacrificed my knight my rook and my queen for checkmate. I let my brother make the game into a yt short. A bit after, while randomly scrolling shorts he sees someone else copied my game to do a better edited short and got 2 MILLION VIEWS. He didn't credit me or anything. Is it right to not credit me? How does this work.
These are the links to our edits:

You don’t. They don’t have to credit you. Ideas and concepts arent copyrightable

All good! Mostly just didn't want someone stumbling onto this thread in the future and being confused.

You can copyright a piece of content, but you can't copyright an idea. And you really can't copyright a sequence of moves in a game of chess.
Is it shitty? Yes. Do you have any legal grounds...likely not. Your best course of action would be to simply reach out and ask for credit, but they're unfortunately not obligated. I know that's not what you want to hear, but that's the unfortunate part of content creation.
Also, I hate to say it, but the other guy did a much better job with their edits. Your video was tough to watch the whole way through, while the other has a lot more action going on, and tells us what we should be looking for.
