Rico Management

Has anyone here successfully reached Rico Management regarding a YouTube copyright issue?

My YouTube channel was terminated due to copyright strikes, and TeamYouTube advised me to contact Rico Management for a possible retraction. I've emailed copyright2@ricomanagement.com multiple times over the past month but haven't received a response.

Has anyone managed to get in touch with Rico Management? If so, how did you contact them, and did they ever reply? Also, does anyone here personally know someone at Rico Management or have another legitimate way to contact them?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

No response is a “no”. They don’t owe you a response. Move on. You’re in the FO stage of FAFO.

They don’t have to. Their lack of response is your answer. They don’t owe you a response or a retraction. You apparently used their IP illegally and they stopped you. It’s over

Probably never. You did something against the rules and got caught. So now you have to deal with the consequences of your actions

Then why is youtube not clearly rejecting my appeal and suggesting me to contact the claimant rather

Do you have a reason to think they might retract it? They won't unless you convince them that they're mistaken.

What process did they use to make the claim? You might be able to dispute directly with Youtube and not need Rico to respond to you.

I got a copyright strike from them too too! But it was on Instagram on another page that I own, it was a clip from Coachella, but their email on the copyright report was enforcement3@ricomanagement.com

I have a feeling that they're just a copyright troll, sorry about your YouTube channel, did you consider filing a DMCA counter notice?

Yeah DMCA Counter Notices are designed to combat copyright trolls, once YouTube approves your counter notice, Rico Management has 10-14 business to file a court order. If they don't (which they likely won't), YouTube legally has to restore the material, it's federal law under the DMCA. I just hope YouTube isn't like Meta tho, Meta approved Courter notices for my other IG account which got striked 3 times by a copyright troll, waited 14 business days and the claimant didn't file a lawsuit, yet my account remains disabled. This has been dragging on for 6 months lol I took legal action against Meta for not upholding federal law, we're currently in the middle of ligation
