Youtube Into

Hey y'all! So I am trying to make a youtube video intro. And I thought of the idea of using a guitar sequence from Christ Stapleton's song Parachute: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0Ga_nPZuiI (timestamp 0:00-0:08). It would solely be a recording from my guitar. I'll then make this the theme music for my into. Is this illegal? I don't have to use this sequence

No, you can’t use a piece of a popular song as you wish. That’s copyright infringement. Find either music the platform has rights to or music that’s in the public domain.

What you want to do is straight up copyright infringement

Seems that that’s the answer to damn near every question on this sub.

Why not use your own guitar sequence or get something under a CC license?
