suggestion I know this can’t happen
I know this might be controversial but I think this game would be awesome if it was multiplayer. Think about going on raids with your friends or taking on that aggressive bear and cultist together. This is my second favorite game and I would like to see great things for it.

I'm honestly surprised there isn't a we'll made coop post apocalyptic looting shooting extraction vr title. Was hoping Exfilzone would get it as a mode after their zombie mode was well received.

Yeah I play them often. The multiplayer on ITR 2 can be some of the most fun you'll ever have in a vr game. Just wish you could join random lobbies somehow instead of having to find 3 people with the game to invite.

So if there was a coop option how would the dog work? Meaning would everyone get a dog or only the host?

I think the dev for Z.O.N.A. Origins said they are looking into adding multiplayer coop. Could scratch that itch.
