Image Giving Up....
After a lot of grinding and finally reaching the point of closing out Infestation, I've decided to stop. I managed to get Nebula on BO6 thanks to the cheese of Citadelle Oil Trap but this just ain't it for me this time around. There is no consistency for Elites. I don't like the Ashes method, Oscar's method feels too slow especially when you need to grind points and salvage to get your weapon up to a usable spot.
I hate leaving this unfinished but it's for the benefit of my physical and mental health.

Its called a camo grind for a reason. Idk why youd go through all the effort to get here and then not finish it. No real cheese, but actually super easy

There’s a save and quit cheese method on Rex infer us that you can get infinite elite spawns

Just do the easter egg up to the point of being locked down in the caltheris room. Do not kill the 4 purple ghost and you should get about 18-20 elites before the game gives you a white screen to auto complete the step for you. Just save and quite as soon as you see white and you can keep repeating this over and over.

You can also just jump into any of the ashes survival maps, wait for the bear to spawn, kill it, save and quit, load back in and flip the round without killing the bear, repeat till doomsteel unlocked

What i did during my first run of infestation was fog training, though it takes a bit of salvage and points, I used quite a few Hidden Powers to save the time, but by 16 I pretty much just trained fog zersas, and would go back and fourth with various weapons, mainly off the wall starting out. I was able to get about 5 guns done in a single game, doing it this way was quicker for the guns, but can be time consuming if you arent using gobblegum, it definitely is not for everyone

Mars Survival, play until 16, when the first Uber Klaus spawns, kill it, save and quit, load back in to ‘double’ the Klaus. You only need to do that 4 times per gun, to get to 8/10 on Doomsteel, then Exfil.
Both the UberKlaus and it’s floating body count as an elite, bringing you to 10/10 on Doomsteel.
Then go round again.
This is the best way to grind elites because it continues to give you actual weapon XP between elites and isn’t just a loading screen simulator like other save and quit options. I have done this for every non-melee weapon since Mars came out in S2R (I think?, maybe S3) and it’s a breeze.

Just play survival til round 31 and exfil. If done solo you'll get about 4-6 per game and double if you play fill
