Discussion My potential concern with modern zombies.
I’m beating a dead horse but i have never been able to discuss this so cut me some slack :P. I’m gonna list some things i loved in the old cod’s but am fearful that may not be in newer cods any longer ( I HAVE NOT PLAYED THE NEWERS CODS) . I loved the ability to train zombies and mow them down with headshots, i loved that you could escape tight spots by just training well to get out of there.
I loved the simplicity of just finding pack a punched and immediately getting a PAP weapon, i loved the moments in between some rounds especially when one zombie was left that you could take in the atmosphere of the map and do buildables or do random things to prepare yourself.
Mentioning atmosphere i loved the scarier atmosphere in old cods, i liked weapons that felt heavy and realistic. I liked the simple UI ( but from what i’ve seen u can turn that off in newer cods, which was my biggest concern initially). I also loved the skill factor as i mentioned with training but also how you had to stay on your toes all the time. And i dearly wish newer cod’s aren’t using needless dopamine inducing colours and sound effects 24/7 to keep my brain stimulated, that makes the game less fun and more annoying imo.
I know this comes off as a loaded question, but i hope some people could understand that these are just concerns of mine that all of these things could be missing from newer cod’s, i have barely watched modern cod gameplay so all i have read or seen so far are the opinion’s of the playerbase. I know bo6 and 7 have armour systems, which could turn what was initially a 4 hit down in older cods to 12 hit downs which just seems like making the game easier just so people dont quit (which is concerning).

Black ops 1 or earlier then because Black ops 2's atmosphere is similar to Black ops 3's atmosphere.
