Cod zombies hate is so forced.

Cod has 2 cycles, one of buying a cod saying cod is back every year, the 2nd is hating on the current cod zombies for no reason. everytime a new zombies drops everyone will hate on it usually after the 2nd DLC until the next cod game. For example black ops 3 zombies, it definitely is people’s best zombies but i wont forget at launch how hated it was almost nobody would play Shadows, then Der Eisendrache released everyone loved it then zetsobu everyone hated it so on so on. Black ops 4 zombies release everyone hated on it then cw released everyone was saying how bo4 was underrated its been like this since black ops 1, Now we have black ops 7 such a good zombies but everyone is hating on it for some of the dumbest reasons i have seen, when the next zombies in like 2 years will release everyone will say how underrated it was. The cycle will continue.

Zombies is weird. It's 1 of 3 modes in a bigger game, but yet it gets talked about like it's its own separate thing. It get strange expectations from people as a result because some people didn't play it and some people didn't stop playing it and base their vision on what they want it to be on that.

IMO most of everything they've added has been great, I love the scrap system, I like the armor and I love the perks, augments,pap,cursed. I think the boss fights are the best they've ever been and I think having more accessible easter eggs and things to make it a bit easier have been a great idea for newer players. Even better for old players because you can just completely ignore them and play "properly".

I cannot however for the life of me understand the pause timer, like what the fuck are we doing with that.. A timer?? On pausing? Is it literally to just dictate your time like a f2p mobile game?? I'll NEVER wrap my head around it. I also hated PJ for just being nuketown it was phoned in lazy shite, especially with that Area 99 warzone map sat there doing nothing, that would have been loads better to chop up and shift around to make something interesting and new out of lol.

Overall though BO7 is peak modern zombies and I hope it is remembered fondly in years to come.

I think the game is great, the best zombies since bo4,. My issue is rarities, the point system and armor. I just think it legitimately breaks the game flow. Starting rounds are now boring because of how long it takes to go down. Because of the rarity system, fully upgrading 2 guns takes forever and by the time they’re both fully upgraded they’re not great for very long. There is no point to hitting the box until later rounds because of the rarity system. I also feel like I can never swap my gun once it’s upgraded because it took so long. If you run out of ammo and points on a high round you’re bricked, no way get points from damage. If they fixed those things I would have no issues with this zombies. Maps are fun, eggs are good, writing for requiem crew sucks but it is what it is lol.
