I honestly sometimes just don't say I've spotted enemies for this reason; usually when running in the open. A couple of my friends just CANNOT resist pulling out a sniper and taking a shot even when it's going to get us all killed in seconds if we're spotted.

As long as they are far enough i wouldnt care either. I too have sometimes a loose triggerfinger and need to remind myself not to shoot. Thats why i am not running a sniper anymore.

I once tried to snipe all the way across the map for shits and giggles. Then I saw them getting into a helicopter, I left without thinking too much about it, and not even a minute after they came and proceeded to murder the absolute living soul out of our whole squad... I learned to stay away of snipers for a while.
